    TITLE: Group Leader - Converting PAY PLAN: Hourly SHIFT: Third Shift - Sunday through Thursday 11:00PM to 7:00AM Directly supports the shift with performance and leadership on the production floor in accordance with plant policies and procedures. Ensure safe and efficient production operation during shift. WORK PERFORMED: Provide technical and physical assistance in the side seal bag making department. Assist in scheduling staffing for regular and overtime situations. Designate responsibilities to operators including line, order schedule and special customer requests. Maintain quality standards by checking, rechecking and authorizing final approval on all orders produced. Evaluate training/performance progress of employees through consultation with supervisor, trainer, etc. Initiate and follow-up requests for maintenance repairs. Complete shift paperwork and reports as required. Coordinate production with press area, scheduling, customer service. Performs basic supervisory function in supervisor's absence. Other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Able to operate and troubleshoot all equipment in division. Determine supplies needed and order when necessary. JDE & WEBEFF knowledge Excellent attention to detail. Capable of, and commit to follow the plant and departmental safety procedures, food safety guidelines and ISO procedure Good communication and organizational skills Good mathematical skills.
