Creates and designs material flow that supports mixed loading design using Kanban.
Ensures systems meet all applicable company and engineering standards, policies or details.
Prepares department KPI s and monitor department performance to budget.
Regular attendance is required,

Your Role at Baxter:
In this pivotal role on our Manufacturing team you will work collaboratively with Supervisors and Materials Planning to determine staff requirements, prioritize work to ensure that customer deliveries are achieved, and that production plans are successfully implemented!
As a motivated and upbeat leader, you have proven leadership abilities and hands-on capability! As the Group Leader, you will take the lead and give direction to a group of operators as well as coordinate and prioritize work schedules and assign tasks. You will be the first level of escalation to resolve production issues and ensure tasks are met.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Commit to a Zero-Harm workplace and ensure Safety policies are followed.
•Timely reporting of all safety incidents.
• Cultivate a collaborative environment while interacting and motivating a team of operators to achieve People/Quality/Delivery/Cost objectives
• Ensure training and cross training on accurate procedures and operations of tools to develop operators and maintain flexibility
• Use computer to update production targets, scrap transactions, order material. Knowledge of Excel/Word/SAP
• Ensure all quality and regulatory policies are carried out
• Review/Sign Device History Records, Training records and other quality documents
• Assist your Supervisor with employee appraisals
What You'll Bring:
•High School Diploma, Associates Degree preferred.
•2-4 years’ experience.
•Able and willing to work overtime on short notice
•Demonstrates good judgment, and can balance multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
•Be able to lift up to 40lbs.
•Work in various positions such as standing or sitting and working in repetitive jobs/assemblies.
•Lean Mfg and/or Six Sigma experience or other Process Improvement program is desirable.
• Leadership skills will be a key attribute.
