An experienced Preboarding Lead Specialist is needed to manage the ServiceNow Preboarding platform and Deloitte's ancillary preboarding tools for the Digital & Analytics team. This role requires strong technical operations skills, expertise in technical and functional areas, coordination with various groups (Employee Life Cycle, Consulting, technology, vendors), and meticulous attention to project work, documentation, and testing.

Work you'll do
In this role, you will:
Support daily technical operations for preboarding
Identify and resolve system support issues through tracking and analysis
Collaborate on Background Check vendor issues with ELE, Office of Security, and TA
Handle Tier 2 escalations for preboarding and start classes
Ensure timely resolution of start class escalations from stakeholders
Analyze data issues with data integrity lead and propose solutions
Coordinate project progress with Consulting, Technology, and Talent teams. Tasks include creating plans, closing actions/decisions, tracking/escalating risks/issues, scheduling meetings, and recording design decisions.
Participate in technical / integration design discussions to ensure preboarding has a seat at the table and to connect the dots to other Talent teams/project impacts.
Engage in transformation projects (design, testing, cutover, hypercare).
Document system changes.
Advise the ELE Preboarding team on key project activities (cutover, SRT, hypercare).
Collaborate with PMO, ServiceNow lead, and Deloitte Technology on support and enhancements.
Assist in developing future state processes for change control, governance, release management, and testing.
Manage system training and documentation for the system admin role.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
6 years minimum of relevant experience
Experience with Talent systems and processes from ideation to deployment

The group leader will provide advanced R&D expertise in the fields of energy and environment effects of transportation fuels, chemicals, and products through use of the GREET LCA model, process modeling of production processes, technology trend examination, data analysis, and energy systems modeling. The candidate will market ongoing research and expertise of the group in the area of energy and environmental effects of new fuels and chemicals to facilitate growth of the Group. Argonne's Energy Systems and Infrastructure Assessment (ESIA) division within the Advanced Energy Technologies (AET) directorate is conducting research to address advanced energy systems, their economic and environmental effects, and their role in US energy security and global competitiveness through transparent, consistent, and objective analytic models and tools. We identify opportunities for the US to develop and deploy creative strategies with world-class expertise and models/tools.
Within ESIA, the Fuels and Chemicals Group provides analyses of technology advancements that enable production of fuels, chemicals, and plastics to strengthen the U.S. bioeconomy. Its research allows stakeholders to identify the challenges associated with converting diverse feedstock categories including fossil-based, biomass, and waste materials into fuels, chemicals, and plastics; and to seek the opportunities to improve their energy and environmental performance and production ramp up. Its research scope encompasses feedstock production, conversion, end-of-life, and recycling. The Group addresses water quantity and quality impacts of energy technologies. The Group develops and apply life cycle analysis under the GREET modeling platform to evaluate energy and environmental performances of biofuels and bio-chemicals vs. conventional fuels and chemicals.
Specific Responsibilities:
* Take overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities of the Group with planning, budgeting, execution, reporting, and delivery of individual projects and associated work products within the Group by working closely with project PIs and staff.
* Supervise, direct, and mentor junior staff to aid their research and career development.
* Coordinate and collaborate with other group managers in the ESIA Division, other Argonne Divisions, other national labs, and external organizations to develop new initiatives and projects supporting DOE and other sponsors.
* Conduct research for projects on which the Leader is the PI developing ideas/initiatives, identifying publishing opportunities, authoring papers and other work products, and pursuing further research opportunities. Act as PI in the area of energy and environmental effects of fuels and chemicals to lead and manage specific projects including project planning, budgeting, execution, reporting, and delivery.
* Plan and implement systems to facilitate work performance within the Group and fulfill the mission and goals of the Division efficiently and effectively.
Position Requirements
* Minimum qualifications include the following education and professional experience combinations with degree(s) in Chemical Engineering or related field(s): PhD and 7+ years of experience; Master of Science and 10+ years of experience; Bachelor of Science and 12+ years of experience.
* Knowledge, experience and skill in fuels and bio-based chemicals, and their technical, energy, and environmental performances.
* Knowledge, experience and skill in LCA with Argonne GREET model for fuels and chemicals and demonstrated experience and technical skills to apply LCA for new fuels and chemicals.
* Experience and skill in working effectively on multiple projects simultaneously and meeting expectations of sponsors, contractors, and other outside professionals to deliver on time and within budget.
* Supervising experiences of +5 years
* Collaborative skills including the ability to work well with other researchers within Argonne, other national labs, research institutions, and industrial collaborators.
* Oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively communicate technical findings and organizational visions, goals, and strategic initiatives through group meetings, one-on-one engagements, and regular interpersonal communication.

Position Details
This role will be responsible for purchase requests from various departments and obtain price quotes from suppliers. Additionally, their responsibilities include contacting suppliers to schedule deliveries or to discuss active shipment concerns such as shortages or missed deliveries. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities
Ensure timely supply of high-quality direct materials to the manufacturing sites
Monitor supplier performance and ensure that acute and chronic supplier performance issues are addressed to avoid disruption to manufacturing or supply
Proactively identify risks (quality, delivery, cost) involved in the supply of raw/packaging materials and develop plans, including dual sourcing, to mitigate the same
Establish and manage Supplier Relationship Program (SRM).
Ensure that new suppliers are qualified in compliance with internal Quality/Change Control procedures and systems
Observe and ensure compliance with Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) policies and procedures
Assure the appropriate level of interactions and communications with key site stakeholders (Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance & Technical Services etc.)

As the Site Lead, you will oversee all aspects of our on-site afterschool programs, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for students. You will lead a team of coaches, directing daily operations and implementing BAM! curriculum and policies.
In this role, you will:
Direct and guide on-site coaches in running structured recess and afterschool STEM, Sports, and Arts programs.
Work with on-site coaches to ensure they follow BAM! curriculum and program policies.
Maintain safety protocols, including check-in/check-out procedures for program participants.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and program updates.
Serve as the primary liaison with school staff during program hours.
Actively participate in coaching students and lead structured recess activities.
Instruct students in the fundamentals of various activities, fostering teamwork and skill development.
Establish authority through effective leadership, communication, and patience.
Maintain regular communication with the Program Manager.
Qualifications:
2+ years' experience instructing children in grades K-8.
1+ years' experience in a leadership role.
Passion for teaching and coaching, with effective communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and efficient class management abilities.
Reliable transportation and valid Driver's License or State ID.
Background check required.
Ability to lift and carry approximately 20-50 lbs. occasionally, with or without accommodations.
