Work You'll Do
This leader will oversee and manage the development and execution of Deloitte's marketing and hospitality activation plans for the deep US Sponsorships Portfolio.
Team Leadership:
+ Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Sponsorship Activation Managers, providing performance coaching, ongoing feedback, and professional growth opportunities.
+ Set priorities and allocate resources across sponsorship portfolio, ensuring balanced workloads and high-quality delivery.
+ Monitor team workloads and re-balance as needed to maintain efficiency.
+ Support the team in issue resolution, escalations, and critical negotiations with property partners or stakeholders to maximize sponsorship value.
Sponsorship Activation Oversight :
+ Oversee the creation and execution of full-year, multi-channel sponsorship activation plans, ensuring all sponsorships are leveraged to deliver maximum value across client engagement, marketing, and business development.
+ Maximize contractual and incremental sponsorship assets. Oversee reviews of activation plans, including copy and creative assets, both internally and externally. Become an expert on the rights and nuances of assigned sponsorship properties.
+ Review, approve, and support team strategies for hospitality and client experience, ensuring exceptional standards and alignment with Deloitte's business goals.
+ Set the vision and drive continuous improvement to ensure marketing, creative, and client engagement plans are strategically integrated, innovative, and measurable.
+ Implement and optimize workflows and tracking systems that support continuous improvement in team collaboration, creative approvals, and asset management. Ensure effective status management on key priorities, deadlines, and deliverables across all managed sponsorships.
+ Oversee the team's work with internal and external agency partners and media teams to develop and measure integrated paid, owned, earned, and property marketing plans, and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
+ Identify and drive adoption of new tools, technologies, and industry best practices that can enhance the impact and efficiency of sponsorship activations.
Stakeholder Collaboration, Rights & Contract Management:
+ Interface between the Sponsorship Activation team and senior marketing, brand, risk, and business leaders, escalating opportunities, resolving issues, and maximizing contractual benefits and unique assets.
+ Translate business priorities into actionable plans and provide regular reporting, strategic insights, and recommendations to executive stakeholders.
+ Represent the team at key firmwide meetings, planning sessions, and external partnership meetings.
General Support & Reporting:
+ Guide the analysis of sponsorship effectiveness, competitive activity, and best practices; provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to leadership.
+ Lead the ongoing development of internal communications, sponsorship toolkits, training, and knowledge sharing to enhance sponsorship activation capability firmwide.

Required Qualifications

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $118,700 to $243,700.

Minimum Qualifications
Active TS/SCI security clearance; SAP eligibility
A minimum of 10 years of experience in military operations support, planning, and coordination within defense or space-related operational environments is required. Candidates must demonstrate proven expertise in leading operational planning teams and effectively coordinating with joint, interagency, and multinational partners to achieve mission objectives and enhance operational integration.
CERTIFICATION: Professional Military Education (PME) or equivalent operational planning

High school graduate (or equivalent).
18 years or older.
Previous climbing experience (1+ years preferred) and ability to pass a top rope belay certification and lead climbing certification.
Previous customer service work/experience (1+ years preferred).
Ability to climb at a 5.9 or higher level.
Ability to stand for duration of shifts (4 hours minimum).
Ability to wear a climbing harness and perform top rope belay for others for 2 hours without a break.
Applicants must have weekday evening (4pm to 10:15pm) and weekend availability (8am to 8pm). Team Leader roles have primarily weekday evening and weekend house.
Ability to walk up and down stairs and over soft/uneven surfaces (e.g. soft padded bouldering flooring) while providing assistance to others.
Ability to clearly communicate with customers in person, on the phone, and via electronic messaging (e.g. e-mail).
Ability to use a personal computer using standard input devices (mouse/keyboard)
Ability to lead groups (6 or more people) including providing clear verbal instructions, group management, and conflict resolution.
