POSITION OVERVIEW
Under the direct supervision of the Site Lead/ELOP Manager, the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) GroupLeader will provide virtual and classroom instruction, assistance and tutoring to students in the after-school program, and will lead engaging culturally rich academic, enrichment, and recreation activities. In groups of approximately 10 to 20 youth (depending on the current guidelines), in various recreational and developmental activities in multiple areas. GroupLeaders will provide opportunities for students to develop and strengthen academic, physical, and social skills through high-yield learning activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures programs and activities adhere to current health and safety protocols.
Perform various administrative tasks.
Supervises members in the program area; continually monitors and supervises the safety and behavior of members; maintains a safe, positive atmosphere; implements discipline techniques and classroom management.
Demonstrates positive values and ethical behavior through program quality and appearance of the Club at all times.
Lead organized learning activities for students to develop and strengthen their academic, physical, and social skills.
Participates as an active, positive team member with supervisor, other staff, volunteers, and members at all times by communicating effectively.
Develop culturally relevant daily lesson plans and activities.
As needed, differentiate lessons and activities so they are appropriate to students with various abilities.
Coordinates assigned program services and cooperative learning activities for youth that are both fun and instructional. Participate in and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and events.
Effectively plan and lead programs, services, and a variety of activities for members; promotes and stimulates program participation. Provides guidance and role modeling to members.
Responsible for daily set-up and clean-up of all materials used during the program.
Ensures equipment is in good condition, with safety precautions posted (where needed) and members instructed in proper and safe use of equipment.
Maintains accurate program attendance records and submits them in a timely manner.
Assess facility needs and perform janitorial duties or manual labor as needed - mopping, cleaning tables, trash removal, painting, playing games, moving equipment, etc.
Displays a high level of enthusiasm and commitment for activities.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 18 years of age with a High School diploma or GED required.
A minimum of 48 units of college curriculum or completion of the Classroom Assistant Proficiency Exam (CAPE) required; or a combination of knowledge and experience.
Minimum of one 1 year experience working directly with school aged youth and knowledge of youth development is preferred.
Experience using communication tools like Zoom and Skype preferred.
Ability to plan and implement quality programs for youth; instruct, coach, and direct varied activities.
Skill to implement and supervise a positive learning environment, incorporating academics, enrichment, and recreation; motivate and engage youth and manage behavioral challenges with peer mediation.
Proficient computer skills - Microsoft Office, email, internet research, social media navigation.
Possess skills for instruction, direction, and guidance, with the ability to lead and control groups of children in various recreational and educational activities and settings.
Respond according to procedure for emergency and disciplinary situations.

Summary
There are many types of roles to be played in live action training. As such, there are multiple categories of role players required: generic, foreign language speaking, opposing force (bad guy), and casualty (to include Cut Suit and Amputee). Normal shifts are generally between eight (8) and twelve (12) hours (day and/or night). Individuals must be comfortable and willing to be “handled” and “touched” by Special Effects Make-up Artists (applying wounds) and members of the Training Audience (rendering aid or detaining).
Role players should be accustomed to working in adverse and austere conditions. Role players have supported training exercises in the desert during the summer months and the mountains in the winter months. Individuals should be professionals that pride themselves in doing what is necessary to ensure the Training Audience is as prepared as possible for any contingency during a traumatic event or an operational deployment.
Foreign Language Speaking (FLS) - A key component to Hyper-Realistic training is the incorporation of language skills, customs, and culture into the training scenarios. FLS role players incorporate a dynamic, interactive cultural awareness component to the urban training exercise. Often, FLS role players are called upon to play the role of an Interpreter.
Opposing Force (OpFor) - On many occasions the Training Audience requires an OpFor to be integrated into the scenario to be able to stress participants and practice the standard operating procedures of the unit. Individuals playing the role of OpFor (bad guy/girl) must be familiar and proficient with weapons (rifles, handguns, knives, etc.) and tactically savvy. Weapons may fire blank rounds or simulation (less than lethal) rounds.
Casualty - STOPS pioneered the integration of casualty role players into military training. 5. Training and Audits:

Position Summary:
This position requires individuals who are skilled in both supporting management operations and leading diverse teams. In the role of Assistant Team Leader, you'll aid the convenience store manager in all aspects of the store's operations-a responsibility you'll prepare for through a training sequence that teaches you our in-store retail information system, inventory management and ordering technology.
You will be responsible for tasks such as completing daily paperwork, troubleshooting car wash problems and addressing problems with gas pumps. Leadership duties include, but are not limited to, forecasting, ordering, stocking, merchandising, being a role-model for prompt and courteous customer service and sharing management responsibilities with the store manager.

Below is a general outline of some of the roles and responsibilities expected of our Assistant Team Leaders (this list is not all inclusive):
Primary Responsibilities:
Training and coaching new store staff
Assisting in creating schedules in a time keeping system
Stocking products on shelves and making sure the store always looks clean and professional
Forecasting, order, stock, and merchandise products
Ensuring prompt reconciliation of store paperwork
Ensuring prompt, efficient, and courteous customer service to store customers, vendors, and staff
Maintaining a clean, customer friendly environment in the store and surrounding property
Assisting with management of store staff
Troubleshooting and resolving car wash related issues
Fixing gas related issues, such as drive offs and the pumps being down
Additional duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Six to nine months' experience as an assistant manager or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong mathematics ability
Strong written and oral communication skills
Desire to be part of a performance-driven team
Reliable transportation to and from your workplace
Employee Incentives:
Employees that are with us for 6 months to 3 years = 0.10 cents off a gallon of fuel
Employees that are with us for 3 years to 5 years = 0.30 cents off a gallon of fuel
Employees that are with us for 5+ years = 0.40 cents off a gallon of fuel
MAXIMUM 20 GALLONS AND 2 FILL UPS PER WEEK
Physical Requirements:
The Assistant Team Leader position requires constant standing, bending, and reaching with a moderate amount of manual dexterity. Frequent lifting of 1 to 5 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 40-50 pounds are required.
