Group1001 CEO and leadership

Andrew is responsible for the management of the firm’s general account assets.

Prior to joining Delaware life in 2013, Andrew served as managing director and Private Credit Group head for Guggenheim Partners, LLC focusing on privately negotiated investments across asset classes.

Andrew initially joined Guggenheim Partners in 2005 as part of the corporate credit group, which invests in publicly syndicated bank loans, high yield bonds, structured products, commercial real estate, and private debt transactions across a variety of sectors.

During his career at the firm, he also led a Houston-based credit team focusing on sourcing and structuring private investments in the energy and natural resources sector.

Bill oversees the marketing and development functions for the general life and annuity businesses of Group 1001 including Gainbridge, Delaware Life and Guggenheim Life.

Bill has 25 years of experience growing businesses in the corporate and start-up sectors including 17 years on Wall Street at JPMorgan’s Investment Bank and the derivative businesses at both Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs. At Deutsche Bank, he was a managing director overseeing most of the institutional derivative businesses, including insurance. At Goldman Sachs, Bill was a managing director leading the firm’s efforts in designing, selling and marketing proprietary indices for fixed index annuities sold to insurance companies. He was first introduced to the Group 1001 enterprise at Goldman Sachs and then provided several indices for Group 1001 products when he moved to Deutsche Bank.

Dan is chief audit officer of Group 1001, reporting to the Group 1001 Audit Committee of the Board of Directors. He is responsible for identifying and implementing internal controls and compliance initiatives across the organization. Dan sets Group 1001 auditing strategies and goals while overseeing the implementation and execution of the annual audit plan and all aspects of department staffing and professional development.

Prior to joining Group 1001, Dan was the Managing Director, Head of Audit for Guggenheim Partners.

Prior roles included senior audit positions with Genworth, The Brink’s Company, Carpenter Co. and Cendant Corporation.

David oversees corporate legal matters and services, including mergers and acquisitions, business segment structure, intellectual property and branding, software development and licensing, and other company objectives/projects.

David has worked in the insurance and financial services industry since 1999 and joined Group 1001 in 2017.

Prior to joining Group 1001, he worked as general counsel with a multi-faceted national provider of insurance-regulated consumer and business products, an insurance holding company and subsidiary that went public in a $131.5 million IPO, and a diversified private holding company involved in insurance, financial services, banking and real estate.

Jeff is responsible for corporate communications and sponsorships. He works closely with the CEO and leads other initiatives that are designed and needed to help drive Group 1001’s growth and to accomplish the firm’s goals and objectives.

Prior to joining Group 1001, Jeff spent 28 years with AEGON in many different roles, including executive vice president of AEGON USA Realty Advisors, where he managed all aspects of the company’s $1 billion guaranteed affordable housing business.

He also held several positions with AEGON Institutional Markets, including managing director of new initiatives, managing director of sales and marketing, and director of international business development.

He is also an adjunct instructor teaching college business classes at Providence High School in Clarksville, Indiana.

Linda is responsible for oversight of the firm’s accounting, treasury, tax, and corporate planning functions. She also helps develop and execute strategic decisions across the business.

Prior to joining Group 1001, Linda was employed by Old Mutual from 2012 through 2018, where she served as chief executive officer of Old Mutual’s Bermuda business since 2014 and chief actuary of Old Mutual’s Bermuda business since 2013.

Prior to Old Mutual, Linda held a number of senior level finance and actuarial management positions.

Linda is a Fellow of Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

Victor performs asset/liability management, actuarial valuation and modeling, reinsurance and fixed annuity and life product development and pricing for the life and annuity companies.

Victor has more than 24 years of experience in the financial services industry, including senior risk management and product roles at various life insurance companies.

He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.
