Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity for people who love data and process to join our Credit Union as we continue on our transformation journey. We are looking for a Business Transformation Strategist to support our people, product and process verticals.
The Business Transformation Strategist plans, executes, leads and oversees cross functional end-to-end delivery of process improvement and transformation initiatives throughout the lifecycle of largescale, highly complex projects or programs to enhance process capability. The Business Transformation Strategist provides advisory support, direction and guidance to assigned resources, stakeholders and executives of the projects and/or program as well as educates and creates awareness of Process Improvement / Transformation methodologies across the Credit Union.
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in business, engineering or related required.
Minimum 5 years' related process improvement experience required.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification required.
Demonstrated experience with tools and methodologies including DMAIC, Lean, Kaizen, and DFSS.
Technical skills to include data visualization in Power BI or Tableau required.
Financial acumen: Ability to link process performance with clear financial impact for both current and improved state using metrics and data.

Sr. Capital Planning & Stress Testing AnalystAccountability Statement:
The incumbent will be part of the Capital Planning and Stress Testing (“CPST”) Team, which resides within VyStar's front-line Finance department. Assistant Branch ManagerJOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Branch Manager responsibilities are to coach, develop and lead branch employees to obtain individual, branch and organizational growth goals while delivering unbelievable member service experiences and maintaining operational excellence. Mortgage Loan OfficerACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT
The incumbent is responsible for originating residential first mortgage and equity loans and participates in related business development activities. The incumbent ensures that members receive quality mortgage loan origination servicing in accordance with VyStar mortgage lending policies, practices and procedures. The incumbent counsels members and obtains the information needed to evaluate credit applications.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Originates residential mortgage loans and solicits residential first mortgages and equity loans through contacts with realtors, builders, developers and personal referrals. Provide quality service to members and potential members seeking residential mortgage loans.
Interview applicants to develop information concerning their financial needs, desires and earnings to assist in determining whether the loan will be an acceptable credit risk. Obtain and analyze pertinent financial and credit data. Enters data into the point of sale origination software to complete the loan application. Discusses application with member, counsels and answers member questions concerning mortgage loan programs. Requests any additional information required to complete the loan application package prior to submission for processing.
Generally provides the required three day disclosures along with other pertinent mortgage disclosures to the member electronically however, may be required to provide them in paper form should the member decline to accept them electronically. Maintain communication with processor regarding progress of each mortgage loan file and communicate status and information to member.
Acts as main point of contact for information and guidance for member. Documents communication with the member and/or other interested parties in the loan transaction in the mortgage origination software application.

EDUCATION
The minimum formal education required is a high school diploma or its equivalent, however a two-year college degree or higher is preferred. Mortgage Servicing RepresentativeACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT
The incumbent is Responsible for performing the duties and services necessary to protect VyStar's interest in mortgaged properties. Member Service
Communicate effectively with the members by phone or in person to assist in answering any questions regarding their mortgage account.
Ensure timely processing of mortgage payments, payoff quotes, payoffs and account corrections.
Cancellation of PMI insurance when requested by the member or when the LTV reaches 78% in accordance with the Homeowners Protection Act of 1998.
Daily balancing of the branch to include clearing of any suspense or un-posted items.
Completion of verification of mortgage or amortization schedules as requested.
Participate in escrow analysis training to help members understand the process and forms used by VyStar. Post shortage remittance payments and reanalyze account as necessary.
Create/maintain necessary desk top procedures relating to servicing all types of mortgages loans.
Quality Control
Verify mortgage loans are set up correctly in the servicing system. This includes but is not limited to: verification of ARM elements, initial escrow deposit, first due date, loan and payment amounts, hazard insurance, flood, wind or PMI. Ensure Real Estate taxes or insurance premiums due at closing were paid and ensure the property tax ID is accurately reported to the tax service.
Insurance Tracking and Payment from Escrow
Timely maintenance of all insurance disbursements from escrow accounts. This includes monitoring weekly insurance due report, keying of premium due notices and research for missing bills.
Match check disbursements to policy for remittance to the appropriate insurance company or agent. Review any return items for necessary correction.
Maintain renewal policy in VyStar record retention system and core system with updated information on all escrow/non escrow insurance accounts to include: coverage amount, expiration date, deductibles and loss payee information.
Monitor all cancellation/non renewal notices to obtain new coverage information from member or agent. Prepare force placed insurance as necessary to protect VyStar's interest in the property.
Payoff Request
Responsible for processing all mortgage payoff requests from members, title companies, financial institutions and attorneys.
Fax or mail requested payoff quote and retain original within the VyStar record retention system.
Adjustable Rate Mortgage (ARM) Monitoring
Weekly update of Treasury Index to the core servicing system.
Monthly monitoring of ARM rate changes in the core servicing system, sending of rate and payment change notices.
Life of Loan Flood Tracking and Cancellation
Review and Monitor loans in a Special Flood Hazard Area and ensure coverage, in addition to tracking changes in Flood Zones via receiving notification from the Flood Vendors.

The SVP, Commercial Banking is accountable for the department's business loan portfolio quality and origination of business loans, per policy and procedures in compliance with all state and federal regulations through effective risk mitigation practices and sound credit monitoring and report control.
Responsibilities include loan analysis, loan decisioning, portfolio management and servicing, and relationship management, which involves managing a substantial portfolio of business loans, both secured and unsecured, many of which involve large balances and loans deemed Specially Managed Relationships (SMRs). The Small Business Bankers and Business Bankers receive guidance and direction from the incumbent to originate quality loans and achieve or exceed our annual loan goals.
In addition, the SVP, Commercial Banking has oversight for the following:

The Senior Mortgage Loan Processor ensures members receive quality mortgage loan service according to VyStar mortgage practices, procedures, and policies. Must stay abreast of conventional and equity mortgage guidelines. Responsible for assisting the member through the mortgage process keeping them informed and moving toward a final loan disposition. Working with loan sales and underwriting as necessary and obtains information needed for underwriting to make a final loan decision. The Senior Mortgage Loan Processor works with the loan closer to ensure the member has a smooth closing experience. The incumbent reports directly to the Mortgage Loan Processing Supervisor and indirectly to the Mortgage Loan Processing Manager.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Pipeline Management: Maintain an active mortgage loan pipeline as assigned. Handle various loan types (equity, second, refinance, purchase, VA, FHA, construction, reno to perm).
Member Communication: Keep members informed throughout the process.
Approval Conditions: Clear approval conditions as determined by the underwriter.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain electronic notes on file activity and member contact.
Credit Application Review: Assess credit worthiness in compliance with policies and guidelines.
Verification: Obtain and review documentation for income, employment, and assets.
Ordering Reports: Order and review necessary reports such as credit reports, appraisals, DRIVE report, Fanni Mae Desktop Underwriter, Freddie Mac Loan Product Advisor, title, Flood Certification, and insurance.
Insurance Information: Ensure all pertinent insurance information is documented.
Underwriting Preparation: Prepare and submit files for final underwriting decisions.
Loan Cancellations: Manage tasks related to member-initiated cancellations and underwriter declinations.
Closing Coordination: Work with loan closers to ensure smooth closing experiences.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Goal Alignment: Understand and work towards department and Credit Union goals.

CERTIFICATION
The employee is required to fulfill and uphold all criteria as a registered mortgage loan originator working for a Federally regulated Institution under the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS).

EXPERIENCE

The Senior Liquidity Analyst plays a critical role within the Treasury function, focusing on the monitoring, analysis, and strategic management of the organization's liquidity position. Consumer Loan Modification SpecialistACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT
The Consumer Loan Modification Specialist processes consumer loan modification requests received from members that are experiencing a change in their financial position that is affecting their ability to maintain timely payments. All activities related to processing a consumer loan modification request must be conducted in compliance with credit union policies, procedures as well as all State, Federal and local regulations. Proficiency with all software, core systems and loan origination systems to include any applicable system coding required for tracking and reporting purposes. The incumbent will report to the Collections Operations Supervisor and will work collaboratively with the Sr. Loan Modification Coordinator on a day-to-day basis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Reviews incoming consumer loan modification requests and accompanying documentation for completeness. Incumbent must possess an astute attention to detail and follow-up at all times to ensure accuracy and timeliness of all documents pertaining to consumer loan modification and trouble debt restructure (TDRs) requests.
Requests additional documentation required from member to complete the consumer loan modification process.
Pulls and reviews credit report to ensure the accurate calculation of debt to income ratios.
Verifies that NADA values are accurate on secured loans.
Prepares required modification worksheets and makes a recommendation for management consideration and Sr. Consumer Loan Modification Coordinator.
Communicates final consumer loan modification decision to the member, including terms and conditions of modification approval or reasons for modification declination.
Completes documents and coordinates with member as to time and location of execution of documents needed for modification.
Prepares consumer loan modification documentation and places the modification package in the appropriate branch folder in Laserfiche.
Prepares and sends notice of adverse action for disapproved consumer loan modification requests.
Completes quality assurance review of completed modification documentation and takes appropriate steps to correct any errors notated during the review process.
Completes the core system loan changes required to ensure loan is serviced in conjunction with the terms and conditions of consumer loan modification.
Notates special payment plans such as reages and reduced payment plans in the collections system. Follow up to ensure payments are being made as per arrangements and review to ensure proper follow up by collector.
Cross-trained to work the collection system queues to ensure each delinquent account has been followed for activity and account is accurately documented in the core collections systems.
Cross-sells other credit union services.
Counsels member and provides alternative recommendations should their request be denied.
Performs the activities and projects as assigned and requested by the Consumer Loan Modification Coordinator, Collections Operations Supervisor, Collections Operations Manager and Vice President of Lending Service Operations.
Identify and make recommendations to Sr. Consumer Loan Modification Coordinator, Collections Operations Supervisor, Collection Operations Manager and Vice President of Lending Service Operations regarding process improvements, quality service and increased efficiencies.
Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
A minimum of three years experience in consumer loan processing and/or consumer loan collections within a financial environment is required.
Knowledge of Federal and State regulations related to consumer lending such as the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Truth in Lending Act, as well as the regulations related to collection activities such as the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collections Practice Act (FDCPA), and Federal Bankruptcy Laws.
Applicant must exhibit and demonstrate positive, well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal, be detail oriented, have excellent organizational and active listening skills, the ability to work in a fast paced environment, and proven ability to work with others at all levels.
Must have professional conduct and appearance at all times and be self-motivated. Must work under the philosophy of “people helping people” and be able to communicate with members and legal council at all levels. Applicants must demonstrate the qualities of a self-starter and one who follows through on all job duties.
Equipment to be used in the daily performance of job duties include HP calculator, PC, and multi-function equipment (fax, scanner, and copier) is required.
Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications and credit union software and/or core operating systems pertinent to completing various tasks and responsibilities of the position is required.
EDUCATION
The minimum formal education required is completion of high school. Incumbent must be knowledgeable of Federal and State regulations governing collections and loan consumer modification documentation.
Continuing education via local conferences and workshops is required for updates on federal and state regulations, as necessary.

ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT
The Member Solutions Representative contacts members to effectively reduce VyStar exposure to financial losses caused by delinquent accounts. Activities must be conducted in compliance with federal and state regulations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Reviews delinquency reports and collection system information to determine appropriate collection activity to effectively collect monies due from members. Contacts members to discuss delinquency. Obtains information to effect collection on accounts and make up-to-date arrangements. Follows up regularly if debt not paid current.
Skip traces difficult to locate members to establish contact by reviewing all relationships in Miser, free internet sites, and skip tracing tools. Submits the account to the skip tracing team to further locate member when preliminary methods are unsuccessful. Recommends to the Member Solutions Supervisor accounts for repossession review when necessary.
Considers and recommends extensions and/or payment arrangements on delinquent accounts to bring due date current. Consults as needed with the Consumer Loan Modification Team regarding extensions, payment arrangements, and workouts.
Reviews and recommends charge-off accounts to Supervisor, Manager and/or AVP.
Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE
A minimum of one-year prior office/clerical experience plus minimum of one (1) year prior collection, call center, and or customer service experience is required. Familiarity with state and federal laws governing collection procedures are preferred.
Assuming the above minimum experience, an incumbent selected for this position would need three months to be fully functional in the job.
EDUCATION, PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
The minimal formal education required is a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Position requires interpretation of auditory sources of information, i.e., group meetings, telephone calls, manual dexterity to permit interaction with a computer keyboard, the ability to organize and interpret data, i.e., report and computer displays.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The incumbent is required to complete all department defined Computer Based Training courses within 90 days from the hire date achieving a passing score of at least 80%.
The incumbent is required to receive, review, sign, and return to their Collections Supervisor copies of the Attendance Policy, Vacation Policy, Dress Code, and Code of Ethics within the first 30 days of employment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
During the first six months of employment in the Member Solutions Department, the incumbent must be capable of demonstrating knowledge and skill in the following:
How to navigate through Atlas (Miser) and know the basic speed keys.
Basic desktop procedures for closing accounts.
Basic desktop procedures for waiving late or nsf fees.
Basic skip tracing skills
How to open or close checking and savings accounts.
Basic desktop procedures for placing flags on accounts and removal.
How to access PSCU and check balance, delinquency, statements, and history.
Proficient with Report Portal, Microsoft Office, and VeriFone
During employment the incumbent must maintain a satisfactory attendance and performance record.
