RANMI is seeking a compassionate and reliable Part Time Peer Recovery Coach to assist with facilitating support groups and recovery activities. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping others and is available to work on an as-needed basis to support our recovery programs. Duties and responsibilities for Peer Recovery Coach: Facilitate peer support groups via zoom and in-person in various locations throughout Western Wayne County. Provide peer support services to individuals in various stages of recovery, offering guidance, encouragement, and resources. Facilitate mutual aid support groups that encompass multiple pathways to recovery, including but not limited to MAT support, SMART recovery, twelve-step (AA/NA), and All-Recovery. Assist in planning and leading recovery focused activities and events. Be knowledgeable of harm reduction strategies and offer support and resources to individuals who use drugs. Assist individuals in developing and achieving their recovery goals, share lived experiences, expand recovery capital, and reduce barriers to long-term recovery. Maintain accurate records of coaching sessions and client progress. Track peer support group and recovery activity attendance. Be in recovery from a substance use disorder (SUD) for at least 24 (twenty-four) months.
