PCs also play a key role in Craftworker retention by building strong relationships, understanding availability, and ensuring clear communication with the Sales team. They contribute to operational planning and fulfillment accuracy by identifying the right Craftworkers for each assignment, supporting them throughout the job lifecycle, and, when needed, providing inside sales and client-facing support. Duties/ Responsibilities Safety & Compliance Drive a strong safety culture by ensuring all Craftworkers meet minimum safety qualifications and by maintaining accurate safety and training records. Conduct compliant interviews following all required protocols and ensure only qualified, safety-minded Craftworkers are selected and dispatched. Recruiting & Order Fulfillment Fill orders by recruiting and selecting the best internal and external candidates who match required skills and have proven safety histories.     The Tradesmen Group LLC seeks skilled and experienced structural metals and copper sheet metal fabricators with at least two years of experience working with roof flashings, metal roofing, and architectural sheet metal fabrication, including copper and various metals, to work out of our shop work in Plain City, OH, doing various daily jobs, including architectural and structural metal working, sheet metal fabrication, copper, aluminum, wood, carpentry, assembly, and on-site fieldwork. What you will do: Operate hand and automated metal and sheet metal fabrication equipment Understand blueprints/drawings/specifications to layout, cut, fabricate, position, and weld or secure parts and units for various metal or sheet metal assemblies Assist in architectural and structural fabrication (copper, steel, stainless steel, aluminum, etc.) Fabrication of cornice assemblies Fabrication of decorative sheet metal elements Fabrication of handrails Fabrication of structural shoring Assist in architectural fabrication/restoration of wood and composite components. Assist in window & door restoration in a shop setting Fabrication of decorative architectural elements Essential job skills & criteria: Use of various forms of metal cutting & shearing equipment Use of metal presses and breaks Use of drill press and metal punch equipment Soldering, brazing, and welding (D1.1, D1.2, & D1.6) Use of forklifts and overhead cranes Use of hand tools and & electric hand tools Metal finishing Painting and finish skills Ability to follow blueprints/drawings to meet product specifications Ability to develop & implement design of restoration when plans are not available Ability to work independently when needed without direct supervision and remain on task OSHA 10 training/certification is required prior to job start We work where we live, and it shows.
