**Job Summary**

**What Are Your Responsibilities?**
This position is responsible for actively participating in an internship program that leverages your skills, knowledge and capabilities supporting the infrastructure AV team while exposing you to different methodologies and tools. This role will assist with applying emerging technologies to assist with developing best-in-class systems and events for our clients and workforce. Working closely with cross-functional teams in both our business and technical areas, the AV Infrastructure Engineering Intern is responsible for learning specific aspects of the processes, programs, and technology in the field of video conferencing and live event production. Additional project support, administrative tasks, and ad hoc requests to support business needs.
This role will also need to:
+ Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.
+ Maintain complete confidentiality of company business.
+ Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.
+ Create a final internship PowerPoint presentation to share with department leadership covering the internship experience, the assigned project over the course of the summer, including the results along with any solutions or recommendations that can be leveraged by the department in the future.
**What Do You Need To Be Successful?**
+ Experience with AV technology, platforms or tools is a strong plus
+ Interest in video production, audio, broadcast, media or photography

In this 11-week internship program, our Quality Engineering intern will join other interns to start out in our corporate headquarters campus in Minneapolis, MN for the first three days to learn from leaders across the entire organization. Our leaders will walk through how each of Tactile's collaborative teams identify patients, provide them with care, and ensure their lives are improved. We will provide an exclusively transparent view on how we at Tactile embrace change by proactively innovating our products, processes, and challenge each other.
After the first three days on campus, the Quality Engineering intern is paired with a mentor on the Quality Engineering team to dive into their internship focus. You will be given an authentic experience by working through real Quality Engineering issues and contributing to meaningful projects. On the final day, all our interns will return to campus to celebrate their accomplishments and reflect on how they made a direct impact on helping people live a better quality of life.

Responsibilities
* Work independently and collaboratively with the Engineering team on projects to drive continuous improvement.
* Contribute to the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to quality processes and procedures
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform product and process risk analysis
* Compile quality data and utilize statistical analysis tools to assess product and process performance
* Support the investigation of non-conformities, customer complaints, and other quality-related issues, working towards effective corrective and preventive actions
* Manage an engineering project or portion of a project through completion during the 11-week internship
* Present project work, experiences, and learnings during final week of internship
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Required
* Enrollment in an accredited bachelor's degree program as a rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a degree in engineering, or other technical discipline
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employment sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
* Strong academic track record (GPA of 3.0 or above)
* Able to commit to the full 11-week internship working 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
* Sample Recovery & Documentation: Assist with the collection and logging of environmental samples (air, water, soil, etc.)

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: As an Intern, you will be a part of one portion of the Wells Engineering Development Program (EDP) participants, working directly with Wells PEs to gain valuable, hands-on experience in field services, quality control, and engineering design. EDP participants will explore different opportunities and discover a career path that best meets your skills, ambitions, and expertise.
Salary range $23.00-$25.00 an hour. Based on experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
One portion of the Wells EDP will get you up to speed with quality control. This is one of the most important aspects of engineering with Wells. Our attention to detail and quality is what sets us apart from the competition.
Shadow Quality Control (QC) tech at the plant
Learn to perform physical test on concrete in the lab
Get familiar with entering pre/post pour in Concrete Vision (CV), an internal production database
Check forms during pre-pour
Start to get familiar with mix designs, finishes, NCR s, and metrics
Work proficiently with mix designs and finishes
Pour samples
Enter and use NCR/metrics to work on root cause and continuous improvement
Conduct site visits when problems arise and determine root cause, then report to operations and help develop new processes, and procedures
Work to develop new metrics to help with lowering NCR where needed
In another portion, you ll have the opportunity to work in our Field Services division.
Shadow a senior field supervisor and assist in the layout process
Read/interpret blue prints and communicate the work plan to crew
Use survey equipment to ensure product is properly aligned vertically and horizontally
Coordinate with dispatch daily for load times and sequence
Supervise the installation process on job sites
Troubleshoot problems that arise and help resolve them
Write weekly progress reports
Assist field operation managers with conducting early job site visits to coordinate start date, crane and truck access and project concerns with clients
Source necessary construction equipment and materials to complete the project
Coordinate shipping schedules, appropriate equipment and crew size needed for the project
Coordinate daily job duties
Coordinate mobilization to the next site efficiently and effectively
Follow the bracing procedures and job specific plan on every project
Support the laborers and operators at the project to complete tasks
Another component of the Wells EDP consists of hands-on experience in engineering design. You ll spend your months working in tandem with Wells Design Engineers to design precast concrete products for a variety of projects, gaining valuable skills.
Work with Wells Design Engineers to design precast concrete products for a variety of projects including FLEXURAL DESIGN (Hollowcore, Double Tees, and Beams), and wall panel design including load capacity and the wall panel handling.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Pursuing a Bachelor s Degree in Engineering is required
Possession of a valid driver s license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Physically able to push, pull, lift, bend, climb, kneel, twist, squat, crawl and use hands/forearms repetitively and frequently.
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for typing, filing, and using office equipment.
