DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: * Manage the complete software development process from conception to deployment * Maintain and upgrade the software following deployment * Manage the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applications * Develop integrations between varying applications using APIs * Oversee and guide the analyzing, writing, building, and deployment of software * Oversee the automated testing and provide feedback to management during the development process * Modify and test changes to previously developed programs * Integrate disparate data sources POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: * 5+ years' experience designing/developing web applications for products using HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, C#, Asp.Net, MS SQL, MySQL * Knowledge of Windows server environments * Experience with KACE, Newforma, Vantagepoint a plus * Certified Internet Web Professional or equivalent certifications * Ability to complete all phases of SDLC including analysis, design, development, testing and support utilizing traditional waterfall and Scrum/Agile methodologies * Ability to innovate and provide functional applications with intuitive interfaces * Proven analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to interpret complex business requirements and encapsulate business logic/rules into reusable libraries * Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Essential Physical Functions: Stand or sit - must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Walk -this position requires the ability to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. - 25% of the time. Full range of motion to walk, stoop and stand while working on worksites - 25% of the time. Use hands/fingers - must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer - 50% of the time. Talk - This position frequently communicates with internal and external customers, must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations - 25% of the time.     As a CA, you provide on-site services for the construction phase of assigned projects. The CA will coordinate all activities between Guernsey, Client, Consultants, Sub-Consultants, Contractor, Design-Builder, and user agencies. A great CA exercises independent judgment in evaluation, selection, and use of standard techniques, and solves problems when encountered. The CA will possess and apply a broad knowledge of architectural principles, practices, and procedures to complete assignments with originality and ingenuity. The CA anticipates job expectations and contributes to solutions on small to mid-scale projects through construction administration. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: * Employs standard protocol for communication with and between team members to include the owner, architect/engineer team and contractor staff. * Proactively applies knowledge of codes and all types of building systems (architectural, civil, structural, etc.) to projects. * Assists with reviewing and managing Requests for Information (RFI) and submittals. * Effectively communicates with designers to gain understanding of design intent. * Monitors owner and/or contractor directed changes for requests that fall outside of basic services agreement; notifies PM of any potential additional services. * Checks submittals (i.e., shop drawings and product data) to determine conformance with project contract documents, design intent as well as Guernsey standards, best practices and quality expectations. * Performs periodic site visits, observations and inspections and prepares field reports. * Evaluates cost-related aspects of the project and administer change orders, proposed changes, construction change directives, substitutions, time delays and payment applications in accordance with contract and project requirements. * Collaborates to build consensus among team members and achieve project goals by facilitating communication between Owner, Architect, Contractor and Consultants and by maintaining current knowledge of the Owner-Architect Agreement, Owner-Contractor Agreement, Architect-Consultant Agreement and any additional services agreements. * Participates in team meetings to discuss project issues, technical issues, and coordination with other disciplines. * Fosters and maintains a collaborative professional working relationship with the project team. * Understands fundamental accounting principles and the project accounting process. * Collaborates in delivering a project on defined budget requirements. * Supports the business development process by identifying new opportunities, marketing current clients for repeat business and assisting with proposals, budgets and schedules. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: * Accredited professional degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Engineering, Construction Science, or related field preferred. * 15+ years of experience. * Knowledge of sustainable design practices are preferred. * Experience with architectural software such as Revit, AutoCAD, 3D modeling software Newforma and Blue Beam software preferred. * Proficiency in MS Office Suite preferred. * Knowledge of sustainability and integrated design guidelines. * Knowledge of the Owner-Architect Agreement, Owner-Contractor Agreement and Architect-Consultant Agreements. * Knowledge of architectural building systems, accessibility guidelines and QA/QC process. * Knowledge of building codes and ability to research and apply/incorporate into technical documents. * Ability to communicate and present ideas in a clear, concise, and professional manner both verbally and in writing.
