* Design low voltage power distribution systems, street lighting, traffic signals, area lighting, pedestrian lighting, aesthetic lighting and other electrical systems
* Design power distribution and control systems for Movable Bridges.
* Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
* Prepare electrical engineering designs that are responsive to project needs.
* Help to schedule and perform quality control duties of project team members.
* Coordinate with contractor, construction engineers, other consulting engineers, and utility personnel.
* Conduct reviews and make recommendations of approval of potential construction change orders, shop drawings and change orders.
* Cost control on projects and quality control within discipline.
* Ensure completeness and accuracy of design team work.
* Master's degree in Engineering
* 8 years relevant experience
* Professional Engineer (PE) certification
* Experience with Roadway and Highway Lighting
* Experience with AGI32 Lighting Software
* Experience with completing plans and specifications and Estimating construction packages for municipal and DOT clients.

What You'll Be Doing:
* Serve as Engineer of Record on structural projects
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients throughout all phases of design and construction
* Lead structural design efforts including system selection, analysis, and detailing for buildings, foundations, and equipment supports
* Produce complete structural construction document sets: drawings, calculations, specifications, and cost estimates

What You Bring to the Team:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field
* Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) in Oklahoma, or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire
* 5 to 15 years of structural engineering experience, with a focus on vertical building structures.
* Proficiency in structural design and analysis; familiarity with Revit is a plus
* Strong communication and technical skills
* Experience working with federal clients and understanding of relevant design codes is a plus
* Knowledge of both design/bid/build project delivery methods
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
* Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits pr client meetings

What You'll Be Doing:

* In addition to providing client-driven solutions, consulting may support various Public Private Partnerships (PPP) and financing vehicles such as Operations and Maintenance agreements, Power Purchase Agreements, Utility Energy Service Contracts, Energy Savings Performance Contracts, Intergovernmental Service Agreements, privatization, capital leasing, franchise/concession, or other service outsourcing.
* Typical engagements involve provision of technical and economic expertise; the Consultant must demonstrate strength in technical assessment, economic analysis and development of budgetary requirements for improvement projects.
* Support is needed for the following functions (listed in no particular order):
* Life-cycle cost analysis, cost/benefit analysis, economic modeling
* Compile data and produce technical and progress reports
* Engineering/technical assessments
* Utility operation and maintenance practices
* Utility maintenance and construction cost estimation
* Evaluation of third-party utility transaction proposals from technical and price perspectives
* Field data collection
* Support project management in scheduling, estimating, and client relationships
What You Bring to the Team:
* Degree in business, accounting, finance or engineering; work related experience may substitute for education.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, with emphasis on Excel and Word.
* Ability to record and organize meticulous notes and documentation.
* Writing and communication skills are critical to our business practice; writing samples and performance during interviews will be key evaluation factors for this position.
* Must function well in a team environment and occasionally tight deadlines.
* Travel is required to client locations throughout the 50 states with potential for international travel. Most travel is for one week, however, occasionally two weeks is required.
* Prior experience with Department of Defense, other Federal agencies, or state/local governments will be a distinguishing evaluation factor but is not required.
