Essential Functions

* Verifies registration and escorts patients and guests to their destination by walking or use of a wheelchair.
* Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest services. Responds promptly to patient, family and team member requests. Assists in the identification of patient and family needs and secures appropriate referrals, solutions and services to the identified needs.

Physical Requirements

Requires walking, sitting, lifting and reaching. May come in contact with patients, families and their personal belongings including those contaminated with infectious and blood-borne pathogens. Must lift a minimum of 50 lbs. for moving and lifting patients in/out of wheelchairs. Must be able to be mobile within the entire healthcare provider system.

Great Parks of Hamilton County guest relations representative job description

Join our team as a Guest Relations Coordinator at Winton Centre! At Great Parks, our team members work together to preserve and protect natural resources and to provide outdoor recreation and education in order to enhance the quality of life for present and future generations.

This full-time position will work Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm but requires flexibility for weekends in the summer season. Summer hours are 9:00am – 1:00pm Saturdays and Sundays from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekends.

This position will assist the Guest Relations Manager with daily operation of the Guest Relations Department. Perform administrative duties, trains staff, answers calls and serves as functional supervisor in the absence of the Guest Relations Manager. Completes other tasks as assigned.

Assists the Guest Relations Manager with daily operation of the Guest Relations Department at Winton Centre. May be required to work fill-in shifts for absences and provide assistance during peak activity times.

Accounts for daily cash transactions. Complies with all cash handling policies and enforces cash control procedures including POS operation, daily deposits, shift/change tills, required logs and regular cash audits.

Carries out functional supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Great Parks’ policies and applicable laws, and delegated authority. Coordinates work assignments, trains employees and volunteers, provides guidance, resolves work issues, and ensures work complies with Great Parks’ policy and performance standards.

Represents Great Parks in a positive manner, provides general park information and answers inquiries as needed.

Receives and resolves guest concerns and complaints. Analyzes and promptly resolves problems. Implements corrective actions or provides recommendations as necessary.

Works and communicates effectively with other departments, leadership, peers and subordinates. Attends and participates in meetings as directed. Completes required training.

Monitors staffing needs based on work volume and ensures prompt customer service. Schedules part-time staff.

Performs various clerical and administrative tasks for the Guest Relations Department as assigned. Creates and updates reports.
Attends monthly open houses at lodges, banquet centers, and other reservable venues. Assists with staffing, setup and teardown for bookings at Winton Centre Auditorium. Assists with upkeep of the Winton Centre mailroom including recycling, package delivery bulk mail and outgoing mail. Purchases supplies and equipment as assigned. Submits purchase requests. Adheres to purchasing card procedures and submits expenditures for supervisor approval. Works directly with the Marketing & Public Engagement Department to create and update promotional materials. Submits information for news releases, social media and advertising. Updates pricing and policies in the reservation system as directed. Distributes a variety of reservation activity reports for field staff at regular intervals. Performs job duties in accordance with Great Parks’ policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
