How you will do it
Engage the workforce, both salary and hourly, to drive cultural change and accomplish safety performance objectives and targets working overtime as needed.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulatory requirements and JCI corporate safety systems.
Review planned changes and new equipment installations.
Approve and/or recommend changes in manufacturing and engineering matters of plant layout, location/relocation of machinery, equipment, facilities, safety designs, and processes.
Support property risk by partnering with Facilities in ensuring compliance with FM Global assessments and routinely touring the property and conducting inspections to ensure compliance.
Maintain and improve the corporate environmental management system.
Collect environmental data for use in determining root-causes of compliance problems and pollution prevention opportunities.
Implement proactive corrective steps.
With a detailed understanding of EPA requirements, complete and submit applicable environmental reports in a timely fashion (such as Tier II, TRI Form R, Generator's Residual Waste, Waste-Water Self-Monitoring, and Air Emissions Inventory).
Participate in the administration, implementation and compliance with the ISO14001 Environmental Management System, and ISO 45001 Safety Management System.
Responsible for hazardous and non-hazardous waste program including ensuring the correct handling, packaging, labeling, storage and transportation of waste to approved treatment and/or disposal facilities.
Coordinate air emission, wastewater, storm water, and waste auditing and testing.
Present safety and environmental training programs to workers and supervisors. Some standardized materials will be made available, and development of site-specific training materials will be required.
Apply knowledge of health and safety engineering processes and practices to identify and mitigate hazards and risks.
Conduct research in order to apply the best industrial and working practices.
Identify and evaluate unsafe practices to address root cause in the mitigation of hazard and risk.
Use technology and forward thinking while leading safety improvement projects.
Measure and audit the effectiveness of EHS hazard control programs such as lock-out tag-out, JHA/JSA and permit programs.

BHWET Project Assistant

North Central Missouri College is seeking a part-time Project Assistant beginning Fall 2025. The position manages and records recruitment efforts, applicants, demographic and placement data, program progress, and evaluation of the Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training grant, which supports Behavioral Health degree and Community Health Worker non-credit healthcare training students. Collect, organize, track, maintain, and report data to the project team, stakeholders, and HRSA-BHWET. This position is funded by a BHWET grant awarded to the college, and the duration corresponds to the grant period, with expected ending date Summer 2029.
Essential Functions: Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Assist the team in recruiting participants.
* Assist in setting processes in place to collect, analyze, and interpret project data and report findings to HRSA and other agencies and organizations with a vested interest in the paraprofessional workforce.
* Manage and collect demographic data of BHWET grant participants.
* Provide performance information on project objectives and accomplishments.
* Provide information identifying project barriers and resolutions.
* Track overall progress of recipients from award to completion.
* Assist in verifying distributions of awards and stipends.
* Prepare and deliver reports for HRSA and NCMC's administration.
Qualifications: Microsoft Office fluency, especially Excel. Proficiency with social media platforms. Organized and detail oriented.
Education: Associate degree, bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience: Experience recruiting and/or managing federal grants is preferred.
Physical Demands: Moving about the building; reaching, pulling, and pushing when filing; able to do repetitive tasks; remain stationary at a desk while typing and answering phones; facilitate instruction in a classroom setting for extended periods of time.
Environmental Demands: Fluctuations while moving on tile and carpeted floors in a heated- and air-conditioned environment.

Job Description
We're seeking a Senior Electrical Design Technician to join our South Facilities Engineering and Design team. In this role, you'll support the design and coordination of electrical systems for high-impact projects across sectors like healthcare, data centers, education, and commercial development.
You'll work closely with engineers to produce construction-ready documents for lighting, power distribution, emergency systems, and other critical infrastructure components. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented, technically skilled designer to grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop accurate and detailed electrical drawings and layouts using Revit or other CAD tools.
Assist in the design of lighting, power, fire alarm, and emergency systems.
Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure well-integrated system designs.
Maintain drawing standards, support project documentation, and assist with quality reviews.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to meet project goals and timelines.
Support team mentorship and review work of junior technicians as needed.
Participate in site walks or field coordination when required.

Strong attention to detail and ability to produce construction-ready documentation.
Willingness to support site coordination and travel when necessary.
