Text MERCHANDISER to ************ to Apply! Allstate Beverage Company, LLC Description Merchandiser Reports to: General Manager The Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring that all product merchandising within each assigned account meets the standards of Allstate Beverage Company.
Description of Physical Tasks:
Keep shelves and vendors clean. Place product on hand truck or dolly (approximately 20 to 50 lbs per case). Pushes/pulls hand truck to machine or shelves and loads appropriate product. Climbing in and out of vehicle and proper lifting techniques.
Responsibilities Include:
* Must work schedule set by Manager.
* Have a working knowledge of all assigned sales routes as a Salesperson in training and, if necessary, fill in during Salesperson sick and vacation times.
* Conduct a complete merchandising call on all assigned accounts on the proper day and in the established sequence.
* Merchandise all products in accordance with the standards of ABC at each assigned account.
* Build, merchandise and sign displays as directed by the manager.
* Fill and merchandise the complete product line including all coolers, shelves and displays. This includes front facing packages.
* Ensure all paper and permanent Point of Sale is used in the proper manner and quantity.
* When necessary call back on accounts to assist or complete the merchandising of delivered product.
* Complete all the special attention items to the Salesperson(s) or General Manager have identified in the account.
* Maintain a positive working relationship with the owners, managers and employees of the accounts you merchandise.
* Be aware of all opportunities to increase sales in your assigned accounts
* Check and note pricing on all competitive products in each account; report variances to the General Manager.
* Work with your assigned account to improve your shelf position within their cooler and the placement of floor displays.
* Demonstrate a sincere interest in the business success of each account.
* Attend all safety and drivers meetings, as well as sales meetings while covering a sales route.
* Maintain open and clear communications with the owners, managers, and other employees of ABC.

* Report to your Manager all new competitive activity in your assigned accounts.
* Should you be unable to make a scheduled merchandising stop you must communicate the reason to the Manager immediately.
* Ensure proper stock rotation is in effect in all your assigned accounts.
* After the completion of your scheduled merchandising duties, check with the Manager for other assignments.
* Always be aware of code dates and have product that is out-of-date swapped.
* Ensure that all packages are sell-able and have damaged product swapped or re-packed.
* Keep your vehicle clean and orderly.
* Ensure your vehicle is serviced at regular intervals and repaired when necessary to minimize breakdowns.
* Dress and maintain your personal appearance in a professional manner and according to company policy.
* Properly operate, protect from damage, and return all equipment that has been issued to you (i.e. radios, hand trucks, vehicles, etc.).
* Conduct all your activities within the guidelines of all company policies and procedures.
* Report immediately to your Manager of any traffic violations, on or off duty that may affect your insurability.
* Conduct all of your activities in accordance to the local, state and federal liquor control regulations.
* Report all accidents and injuries immediately to the Manager.
* Perform all work activities in accordance to the safe work practices, policies and procedures.
* All other duties as assigned.

Overview
The Merchandiser II is responsible for performing merchandising activities and constructing displays of SGWS products in key retail accounts as requested by Sales Team or retail customers. This role will provide support to Sales Reps by ordering products and may be required to expedite product delivery on an emergency basis.
Primary Responsibilities
* Responsible for building and maintaining merchandising/display materials for all products
* Position merchandise and create a customer-ready selling floor
* Participate in ensuring store appearance and merchandise displays are in line with plans, selling history and new receipts
* Consults with buyers, marketing, and sellers product positioning and presentation plans
* Responsible for placing product orders on behalf of the Sales Rep
* Responsible for servicing local stores and refilling existing displays of products to keep company products fully stocked on the shelves
* Create and coordinates the visual presentation of merchandise, including store layout and exhibits
* Distribute and install refund offer, neck hangers, shelf-talkers, and price signs on products sold by the Company
* Fill cold box and warm shelves at client account with products sold by the Company
* Refill and re-merchandise existing displays of product sold by the Company
* Assemble, install and fill all types of display racks
* Pick up and deliver special orders, mail, and merchandise
* Perform sales support functions to include the use of current point of sale marketing materials, oversight of the shelf space in the chain territory manager's accounts, consistent communication with the representative regarding changes in buyer preferences and or out of stock inventory concerns/situations encountered during weekend hours
* Reset alcoholic beverages at the store level (e.g., rearranging products using an authorized plan within an assigned territory/set geographic region)
* Implement authorized plan/schematic developed by the various chain headquarters, so accuracy in evaluation, application and execution on the information provided are essential skills
* Introduce new products, reinforce established and agreed upon case volume and display activity, and monitor in-store promotion results
* Stay abreast of business/market conditions, recognize new opportunities within each account, maintain the necessary territory records and support the sales representative's visibility and market saturation in the account
* Build and develop the trust and confidence of the retailer through knowledge of SGWS policies and procedures coupled with a prompt, courteous resolution of inventory discrepancies
* Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Role Summary

Work Schedule: 5 days per week (with weekend shifts); 5:00-6:00 AM start time.
Starting Pay: Earn over $19.50 / hour (base rate plus weekly bonuses, mileage reimbursement, and OT opportunities).
Mileage Reimbursement: $0.655 / mile tax-free mileage reimbursement (avg. $400 / month).
Territory: This role will cover accounts in Downtown, Hyde Park, Westshore, Gandy-area, and other parts of South Tampa.
What You'll Do
Restock coolers, shelves and displays in assigned accounts
Rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf following product Code Date Policies
Assist and/or build displays with proper P.O.S. per Company policy, to meet retailer needs and maximize product sales
Ensure P.O.S. communicates the proper package and price to consumers
Use equipment such as hand trucks, dolly's and pallet jacks to move product within an account
Build customer relationships at the store level
Continually strive to achieve the number one sales position in each account with proper P.O.S. to ensure success of our brands
Maintain knowledge of Pepin's complete and growing portfolio of Brands and Packages
Communicate daily objectives with Supervisors and other team members
Manage time effectively to route daily work needs
Practice “Safety Always” by adhering to safe working practices, Company policies, rules, and regulations. Correct obvious hazards immediately or report to supervisor if not immediately correctable
Work hours will vary daily due to business needs

Requirements
A dependable, personal vehicle to be used for work with proof of liability insurance
High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent required
One (1) year of general work experience is preferred. Prior grocery store or knowledge of the beverage market, a strong plus
Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements
Daily, in person travel within the service territories of Pepin required (Hillsborough and Pasco Counties)
A valid Florida Driver's License and clean driving record
Required to work Saturday, Sundays, and some holidays

Overview
The Merchandiser II is responsible for performing merchandising activities and constructing displays of SGWS products in key retail accounts as requested by Sales Team or retail customers. This role will provide support to Sales Reps by ordering products and may be required to expedite product delivery on an emergency basis.

Overview

Role Summary

Overview
The Merchandiser II is responsible for performing merchandising activities and constructing displays of SGWS products in key retail accounts as requested by Sales Team or retail customers. This role will provide support to Sales Reps by ordering products and may be required to expedite product delivery on an emergency basis.
Primary Responsibilities
* Responsible for building and maintaining merchandising/display materials for all products
* Position merchandise and create a customer-ready selling floor
* Participate in ensuring store appearance and merchandise displays are in line with plans, selling history and new receipts
* Consults with buyers, marketing, and sellers product positioning and presentation plans
* Responsible for placing product orders on behalf of the Sales Rep
* Responsible for servicing local stores and refilling existing displays of products to keep company products fully stocked on the shelves

* Implement authorized plan/schematic developed by the various chain headquarters, so accuracy in evaluation, application and execution on the information provided are essential skills
* Introduce new products, reinforce established and agreed upon case volume and display activity, and monitor in-store promotion results
* Stay abreast of business/market conditions, recognize new opportunities within each account, maintain the necessary territory records and support the sales representative's visibility and market saturation in the account
* Build and develop the trust and confidence of the retailer through knowledge of SGWS policies and procedures coupled with a prompt, courteous resolution of inventory discrepancies

Keep shelves and vendors clean. Place product on hand truck or dolly (approximately 20 to 50 lbs per case). Pushes/pulls hand truck to machine or shelves and loads appropriate product. Climbing in and out of vehicle and proper lifting techniques.
