I am a Marine Chief Engineer with extensive working experience onboard various types and sizes of Tankers and Chemical Tankers. Being a self-motivated and proactive engineer I demonstrate a hands-on approach. I fit very well in a team environment and working unsupervised is also my key strength. Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills have been instrumental to my success in engineering operation and management.

I possess strong knowledge and experience in operation & maintenance of diesel propulsion, ancillary machinery and electricity generating system. As a marine engineer, my key success has been maintaining engine and deck machinery always in a state of operational readiness and ensuring workplace safety, quality and environmental compliance. Performance enhancement and trouble shooting of engines and machinery has been a special interest for me and in turn I developed a forte. With long experience in management position I have attained good skill in writing technical reports on machinery maintenance and inspection.

I have been working as independent marine surveyor in Australia and New Zealand since June’2017; my current employer is a reputed local marine survey company in Melbourne called Australian Marine Surveys. In my working experience with AMS, I have been engaged with Pre-purchase Inspections, P & I club Entry Inspections, On-hire Off-hire surveys including bunker quantity survey and Mock Port State Control Inspections.
