All activities to be in accordance with Repair Station requirements ensuring all parts and assemblies meet conformance.
* Set up and operate necessary test equipment in accordance with required. doc to perform functional and operational tests of mech and elect acft components for return to service or for initial cert for new products.
* Inspect all detail parts using blueprints, component and/or overhaul manuals and other required. maintenance data to ensure conformity requirements are met.
* Showing superior tech skill, remove skins and related components on flight controls and secondary structure components, locate and install/reinstall parts.
* Demonstrate mastery of repair techniques and concepts using acceptable practices including troubleshooting, soldering and application of protective coatings.

RS Cabinet Maker Sr in GAC Appleton Unique Skills: First shift. Education and Experience Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. 4 years of experience in cabinetmaking. Experience in aerospace industry preferred. Under general supervision, fabricates the most complex cabinets and other wood-surfaced subassemblies for installation in aircraft. Assists lead by overseeing projects and providing guidance, assistance and training to co-workers.
Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
* Fabricates complex high quality furniture and other wood-surfaced subassemblies using stationary and hand held-tools. .
* Interprets material specifications and design/engineering drawings to ensure finished product meets design and engineering requirements with a high level of quality and detail. Coordinates with supervision to ensure compliance with customer approved design samples.
* Utilizes a variety of woodworking tools and techniques.
* Complies with and champions safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies and ensures the protection of aircraft interiors. .
* Works with lead and higher skilled technicians to develop and implement process improvements that increase safety, reduce, cost, cycle time, and man-hours using Lean Six-Sigma and other process improvement techniques.
* Utilizes the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks and to sign-off work.
Additional Functions:
* Accepts Lead responsibilities when required. Mentors and trains lesser skilled technicians. .
* Oversees projects and coordinates with Lead to delegate tasks to assigned technicians. .
* Conducts safety audits and assists team members in doing safety audits. .
* Assists in maintaining shop equipment and associated JSAs. .
* Coordinates with other backshops when necessary. .
* Adapts to sudden schedule changes. .
Perform other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements:
* Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* The ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
* Able to climb ladders and stairs, work in small restricted areas, lift up to 40 pounds and work any shift.
* Must be computer literate.
* Advanced knowledge of cabinetmaking processes and products.
* Possess a working knowledge of Gulfstream inspection and process specifications preferred.
* Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Position Purpose:
Under moderate supervision, perform a variety of material handling, inventory coordination, and distribution tasks to support manufacturing, service centers, and logistics operations. Ensure timely and accurate movement, tracking, and documentation of materials in compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
* Process pick tickets and material requests by pulling, issuing, and transporting parts to support manufacturing, service centers, spare parts sales, backshops and/or distribution centers .
* Operate material handling equipment and company vehicles to move materials between departments and designated locations .
* Unload freight and verify paperwork .
* Maintain inventory accuracy through proper data entry and use of inventory management systems (i.e. SAP, Corridor, etc.) .
* Track parts to support schedules and customer requirements .
* Demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality throughout daily operations by following established procedures, identifying potential hazards, and ensuring all work meets regulatory and company standards .
* Handle Dangerous Goods per standards .
* Assist with inspection and tagging .
* Elevate discrepancies with clear communication and follow-up actions .
* Maintain clean work environment .
* Participate in improvement initiatives .
Additional Functions:
* Ability to obtain certification to operate material handling equipment and meet all training requirements .
* Support Lean and sustainability initiatives .
* Learn and apply Lean concepts .
* Perform other duties as assigned .

* Must have a valid driver's license.
* Must be able to obtain certification to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment.
* Able to comply with FAA Regulations and Quality procedures on documentation.
* Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

* Technical Certificate in aircraft electrical assembly preferred. and/or successful completion in current year youth apprenticeship program sponsored by Gulfstream, in area of expertise.
* Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
* Strong written and verbal skills required.
* Computer skills and general software knowledge necessary.
* Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
