Position Purpose:
Under limited supervision, perform the planning activities associated with supporting Production and Completions requirements within an MRP/ERP environment. Audit and maintain planning information and associated part/material attributes within applicable systems and databases. Respond to changes in schedules and changes resulting from bill of material modifications. Communicate resulting schedule changes to procurement and operations personnel when appropriate. Responsibilities may include working closely with all levels of personnel within Gulfstream and approved suppliers.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
* Establish material requirements consistent with production rates, supplier lead times and corporate inventory objectives/policies.
* Ensure all data elements which impact the planning and supply chain are maintained within lead times, service levels, receiving/carrying cost, etc.
* Initiate purchase requisitions and purchase orders for new items, unique items and existing items that have reached reorder points.
* Coordinate with Product Support, Manufacturing Engineering, In House Shops, and purchasing to expedite parts in support of Operations and Gulfstream Customers.
* Analyze shortage situations and determine root cause and corrective actions.
* Monitor and assist in identification of excess inventory. Assist in determining whether the excess is subject to re-distribution or disposal. Maintain proper part disposition for tracking purposes.
* Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports pertaining to current status of inventory and overall customer service level.
* Generate replenishment schedules and coverage analysis for a buyer or planner and communicate changes as required.
* Responsible for training, developing, and mentoring Material Planner I's.
Additional Functions:
* Identify components with high level of demand variability, analyze options and prepare recommendations for management approval. .
* Follow safety, 6S, and quality requirements in every phase of assigned duties. .
* Use Lean Manufacturing techniques to ensure inventory and in stock material is the optimum qty required. to support the operation. .
* Analyze and resolve issues to maximize customer service at the lowest total cost. .
* Frequent interaction with personnel in other departments to follow-up, expedite, and coordinate parts. .
* Develop understanding and establish experience base in Gulfstream Materials processes and procedures. .
* Develop an investigative and analytical mind set. .

The Rotable Pool Manager is a strategic and critical role responsible for the end-to-end management of the rotable asset inventory. This includes overseeing rotable pools that support both Power By the Hour (PBH) contracts and Ad-Hoc Standard Exchange programs. Rotable Pool and Inventory Management: 40%
* Lead the management of the rotable pool inventory, ensuring adequate coverage for all scheduled and unscheduled removals in a timely manner.
* Analyse raw data and formulates strategies in an effort to identify cost drivers, increase stock accuracy and efficiency while reducing inventory/logistic cost and mitigating performance penalty risks
* Conduct proactive pool health assessments based on existing and future PBH and Standard Exchange contracts, identifying and addressing potential shortages.
* Possess the technical expertise to determine and propose feasible interchangeable or alternate part solutions to customers when like-for-like parts are unavailable, thereby mitigating stock level issues and controlling financial impact.
* Determine inventory obsolescence and develop strategies for disposition or alternative use of aging assets.
* Prepare robust business cases for the acquisition of new rotable assets to support new contracts, replace obsolete stock, or expand the pool as needed.
* Develop and maintain a robust rotable pool inventory process, establishing min/max stock levels for all rotable components.
* Collaborate with internal MRO business functions to acquire and analyze forecast data across multiple time horizons (e.g., 6 months, 12 months, 3 years) to inform pool sizing exercises.
* Adjust rotable pool levels based on key performance indicators such as scrap rates, core recovery rates, and repair turn-around-times (TAT).
* Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of computer systems and databases for efficient material management and alternate/interchangeable part identification
Core Unit Recovery and Follow-up: 40%
* Function as the primary interface to internal MRO shops and customer facing departments regarding the process of core returns from customers.
* Actively "drumbeat" and monitor the return of core units to ensure they are received as payback for both PBH contracts and Ad-Hoc Standard Exchange.
* Ensure the timely recovery of core units to meet OEM and third-party MRO warranty claim deadlines.
* Track all overdue cores and manage the billing of applicable late penalties to customers.
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive "Cores Due In" report to track the status of all outstanding cores.
* Provide a regular analysis (monthly/quarterly) of core recovery data, including total outstanding cores, expected due dates, and identification of late cores.
* Coordinate with internal departments to support the timely recovery of cores and update their status upon receipt.
Metrics Management and Reporting: 20%
* Support and lead the creation and maintenance of key performance indicator (KPI) reports and presentations for MRO and rotable pool performance.
* Conduct detailed data analysis as needed to provide insights into pool utilization, core recovery effectiveness, and inventory health.
* Develop and sustain internal reporting that provides visibility into the status and value of the rotable pool.

Responsible for the Certification of raw materials, parts, and components under Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) regulatory authority.
Perform dimensional inspection with the use of mechanical inspection tools and gages of incoming raw materials, detail parts, kits, components, subassemblies, and major assemblies for visual damage in accordance with sampling plan.

Inspect outgoing parts, articles, materials, and documentation to the requirements of export shipping order and regulatory requirements (FAA/TCCA/EASA).
Issue Authorized Release Certificates (ARC's) of raw materials, parts, and components under Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) regulatory authority and MHIRJ Quality Manual.
Track and maintain accurate shipping/receiving inventory and inspection results using multiple computerized ERP system/databases and manual filing systems.
Interpretate and apply regulatory requirements (FAA/TCCA/EASA).

Here is what is required to succeed:
High School diploma or GED required, associate's degree in applied science or similar technical program preferred.
2-5 years' experience in shipping/receiving aerospace inspection.
2-5 years' experience in aerospace-specific quality inspection.
1+ year of experience working with Authorized Release Certificates (FAA 8130/TCCA Form One/EASA Form 1), industry standard parts and specifications, and an understanding of aviation regulatory requirements (FAA/TCCA/EASA).
Ability to read and interpret engineering documents.
Ability to use and read measuring equipment, e.g., depth gauge, micrometers, calipers, bore gauge, etc.
Intermediate computer skills in MS office programs, particularly Excel, Outlook and other MS office suite programs.
Familiarity with SAP or other similar ERP systems (preferred).

Architecture and definition: 60%
* Define System/Integration architectures in accordance with engineering operation requirements as elaborated during offer phases to meet customer, airworthiness, general engineering standards and company requirements.

Cost/Pricing Analysis: 65%
* Develop Commercial spare catalog prices based on Data Management Group (DMG) tickets.
* Understanding of Airbus commercial pricing policy for spares
* Coordinate with AH and AHD for pricing request
* Prepare and develop detailed cost and pricing responses to Over and Above (O&A) proposal requests
* Support yearly E-commerce catalog validations with the government
* Support yearly commercial E-commerce spares catalog pricing update
* Support and complete the yearly Safran catalog validation
* Collect data and develop database to improve costing/pricing activities
* Analyze and extract relevant information from data to support business decision
* Coordinate with the appropriate colleague to gather substantiation as needed
* Develop and maintain costing database
