Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
* Maintain accurate, real-time records of parts out to vendors for overhaul/repair; exchange items due from operators. Pursue process through to completion.
* Coordinate with spares inventory control and in-house shops to ensure timely delivery of detail parts as required. for overhaul/repair of company and customer owned parts.
* Coordinate the repair/overhaul of exchange units.
* Liaise with other departments for in-house shops on correct pricing for customer owned property.
* Build customer and vendor relationships in order to meet customer aircraft parts requirements.
* Process customer owned property to vendor for repair/overhaul after reviewing terms and conditions of customer purchase order to determine proper disposition within Gulfstream procedures.
* Analyze reports to monitor, vendor delivery schedules to ensure timely turnaround of repaired/overhauled items.
* Maintain admin files and submit reports governing repair/overhaul program as required.
* Maintain contact with customers, field representatives and outside sales representatives both prior to and during any unscheduled maintenance to fulfill any and all parts requirements.
* Work with finance department to ensure customer credit line is established and coordinate induction invoice.
* Work in concert with the Purchasing department and in-house repair shops to provide accurate pricing and quotes in a timely manner for aircraft components being repaired / overhauled.
* Monitor the cost of ongoing customer property repairs/overhauls, job charging, and parts purchasing to maintain the dollar amount quoted to the customer.
* Takes a proactive approach to coordinate with credit reps and assures all accounts stay in good standing.
* Work closely with customer and Gulfstream sites to ensure that repair/overhaul requirements are fulfilled, schedules are met, pricing is accurate, and components are shipped.
* Ensures invoices, including supplemental bills, are processed within established guidelines.
Additional Functions:
* Participate in training new staff members and impart business knowledge, skills and experience. .
* Prepare reports pertaining to current status of work orders. Analyze and take necessary actions to update customers and follow up with appropriate internal work groups. .
* Work directly with outside vendors to achieve the highest quality and quickest turn-around possible to ensure absolute support of the aircraft. .
* Monitor group email and assign to Repair Control Associates or respond to customers as appropriate. .
* Coordinate additional support for customer repairs/overhauls to include rental or loaner units, special vendor exchanges, vendor warranty, etc. .
* Assist Product Support business office in resolution on accounts receivables issues. .
* Provide support to outside R&O sales managers (pricing, quotes, and customer inquiries). .
Perform other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements:
* Basic understanding of cost control financial principles.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Must be able to read and interpret applicable aircraft maintenance manuals, IPCs, ASCs, CBs, and service bulletins.

* Uses the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks and to sign-off work.
