The RD collaborates closely with primary care providers, nursing, community health representatives, and wellness staff to deliver integrated, trauma-informed care. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field. Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) as a Registered Dietitian. Supervise and motivate the Wawyé Oasis team, including pool staff, lifeguards, servers, bartenders, etc. Assign duties, provide training and guidance, and support to clients and guests. Monitor food and service quality to ensure consistency and guest satisfaction. Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Gun Lake Casino Resort's “Unsurpassed Service” and AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times. Maintain a strong knowledge of the departmental offerings, including any menus and offerings. Serve as a primary point of contact for event organizers, providing attentive and responsive communication throughout the planning process. Interact with guests to ensure an outstanding experience and promptly address any concerns or feedback. Establishes and ensures compliance of departmental policies, practices procedures in accordance with Gun Lake Casino Resort's Core Values (The 7 Grandfather Teachings), while maintaining AAA 4-Diamond service standards. Coordinate with various departments, including Catering & Sales, Marketing, Facilities, Hotel Front Desk, Security, and Internal Maintenance to ensure all aspects of events are seamlessly integrated. Work closely with the Marketing team to have clear understanding of each event's expectations. Provide feedback for any events' logistics or guest opportunities. Assist the Wawyé Manager in monitoring and managing expenses, including food, beverage, and supplies and labor costs, to maximize profitability while maintaining high-quality standards. Conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback from guests to identify areas for improvement, promote cost efficiencies, and ensure continuous enhancement of services. Ensure compliance with Serve-Safe food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining clean and organized service areas. Maintenance of all banquet/catering, events venue, pool deck furniture and equipment through proper handling and storage. Collaborate with the culinary team to understand guest preferences, receive feedback, and adjust to enhance the overall dining experience. Handle any Team Member or Guest opportunities. Evaluate, oversee, and provide coaching opportunities regarding job performance of Team Members. Provide ideas and suggestions to drive continuous improvements in Team Member Engagement and Guest Satisfaction while gaining understanding how to achieve annual targeted retention levels for the department. Foster a positive and collaborative work relationship with teams from Catering & Sales, Food & Beverage, Marketing, Internal Maintenance, Facilities, Security, Warehouse, Laundry, Hotel Front Desk, as well as third party vendors. All other duties as assigned. Essential Qualifications: Must be 21+ years of age. High school diploma or GED equivalent required; some college or college degree preferred. Three (3) years experience in convention services or event planning, preferably in an upscale hotel or resort setting. Three (3) years of multi-unit supervisory experience in a fast-paced operation preferred. Two (2) years in a AAA Four Diamond casino or resort environment with a focus on guest service and hospitality management preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and colleagues required. Familiarity with hotel and resort operations, including guest services, housekeeping, and Food & Beverage operations. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in computer applications, including Versa, Delphi, Delphi Diagrams and MS Office preferred. Ability to clearly present information through the spoken or written word; talk with customers or team members; listen well. Ability to fluently read, write, and understand English. Must possess or be able to obtain a TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures by Servers of Alcohol) certification card. Must possess or be able to obtain a ServSafe Food Handler certification. Must hold or be able to obtain Gun Lake Tribal Gaming Commission license. Must have the ability to compute basic mathematical calculations; recognize room size, occupancy capacity, and set up configurations. Should possess a strong familiarity with Audio/Visual, sound and lighting equipment, and other room technical specifications. Availability and willingness to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as business requires. Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy, and stressful environment and maintain physical stamina, and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
