The Terrain Park hand crew is essential for maintaining all park elements in the terrain park in an effort to provide an enjoyable environment for our guests. The attendant's goal is to provide all guests with the best possible terrain park experiences. This person helps educate park users in Terrain Park Etiquette. They also maintain and monitor the energy in the terrain park through music, color, fencing, banners, flags, comradery, and events. Patrollers are committed to providing quality, empathetic care for injured/ill guests and/or employees. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to; attend to patient evaluation, triage and provide appropriate first aid; safely transport injured guests and/or employees from the mountain to First Aid Base; maintain a strong working knowledge of lift evacuation plans and snowmobile operations; attend to on-mountain risk management duties such as identifying and marking potential skiing/riding hazards, set-up and remove fencing, rope lines and signage as needed. We are looking for an experienced Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to our recipes and guidelines. Your role will also involve maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and ensuring food safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, excellent culinary skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. General Accountabilities * Set up and stock station and ensure other work areas are stocked accordingly, as directed by Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager. * Utilize proper recipes, equipment, tools and utensils. * Adhere to company standards for food quality, taste, flavor and presentation. * Ensure that food is portioned and presented according to standards, as well as guest specifications and preferences. * Ensure all products are prepared, held and served at correct temperatures. * Participate and assist in coordinating the flow of work within the culinary department to maximize quality and efficiency. Qualifications * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Attention to detail and a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing meals. * Proven experience working as a Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment. * Solid knowledge of various cooking techniques and culinary best practices. * Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. * Ability to perform well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Snowsports School Support Staff provides help for all inside and outside operations at the school. In the mornings, the support staff will work inside and outside assisting guests to navigate through the check-in of rentals & lessons, ensuring an easy transition from the parking lot to their first lesson. Our ideal candidate will be a positive and professional ambassador, representing Gunstock and the Snowsports programs. This position will work closely with the Children s Center instructor staff at lunch, outside on snow, and end of day check out when needed, reporting to the Snowsports School Manager. Weekends and holiday periods a must! You'll spend most of your time: Assisting with outside morning and afternoon lesson yard set up Assisting guests when signing up and checking in for lessons and navigating the mountain Helping out in the Rental shop when needed Other various duties as assigned by the Snowsports School Manager Responsible for all the Ski & Ride School lunchroom duties Requirements: Must be able to work inside and outside in winter weather conditions Able to stand for lengthy periods of time, sometimes in ski/snowboard boots Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills Must have a competent knowledge of Snowsports Lessons and rental products Familiarity with where things are here at Gunstock Mountain is extremely helpful, including Alpine trail locations Perks for Year 1 Winter Employees: Complimentary Gunstock season pass for yourself OR one friend/family member.
