Job Description
This Grounds Maintenance Associate will be responsible for landscaping duties, janitorial duties, and litter collection.
Essential Duties
* Maintaining playground/island mulch, turf (natural and synthetic), dragging baseball field infields, changing home plates and base anchors
* Inspecting park assets including playgrounds for safety standards
* Applying herbicides (pre- and post-emergents) and fertilizers
* Operating irrigation systems and performing minor repairs
* Maintaining passive areas
* Operating tractors and commercial zero turn mowers
* Operating small engine equipment (backpack blowers, edgers, and string trimmers)
* Performing preventative maintenance and performing repairs on equipment, chain link fencing/gates
* Reporting incidents to leadership
* Providing maintenance reports
Other Job Requirements/Information
* This job may require on-call rotation and emergency after hours, weekends, and/or holidays.

The grade for this position is A12(2): 40,000. Salary will be dependent on education and experience.
