Praxis Health, has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Gynecologist to become part of an established team of providers at our High Lakes Gynecology clinic in the outdoor adventure town of Bend, Oregon. You will join a small but highly motivated and mission-driven team of providers while also working closely with, and being supported by our exceptional care team and administrative staff.

High Lakes Gynecology, part of Praxis Health, has been serving the community since 2008. Our providers offer all gynecology related procedures, while ensuring that patients are educated about disease prevention, detection, and reproductive health.

This role involves a mix of office based and optional surgical gynecology, with call, but no OB responsibilities. Our ideal candidate is Board Eligible/Board Certified, with excellent surgical skills, an impeccable bed-side manner, strong communication skills and a compassionate character. High Lakes Gynecology is located in the Hosmer Lake building, a dedicated site for gynecology, on our Shevlin Park Campus. Additional clinics within walking distance offer Family Medicine, Pediatrics and Dermatology. High Lakes Health Care is a local, independent health care practice with primary care doctors, family nurse practitioners and more. Our team of care providers remains committed to caring for patients the way they want to, in a hands-on way that values relationships over volume.
Our primary care physicians take on challenges in health care to further assist our patients. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Women's Health Specialists is seeking a part-time Board certified or board eligible Gynecologist that will put their patients first, provide stellar and comprehensive patient experiences, stay ahead of the curve in medical technologies and practices, and work well as a team. Women's Health Specialists is located in Rockville, MD. This role would be Tuesday, Wednesday, and every other Thursday in-office.

* Performing annual and regular examinations on patients to diagnose various gynecological conditions.
* Recording and updating patients' medical histories.
* Advising patients on suitable birth control options.
* Performing various diagnostic tests on patients, which include Pap smears, STD tests, ultrasounds, hormone profile blood tests, colposcopies, and endometrial biopsies.
* Explaining test results, diagnoses, and treatment options to patients.
* Performing benign gynecologic surgeries.
* Handling procedures on patients, such as cervical cryosurgeries, dilation and curettages, pelvic laparoscopies, and sterilizations.
* Referring patients to other healthcare specialists as needed.
* Educating patients on reproductive health issues and disease prevention.

Job Requirements:

* Doctor of medicine (MD) or doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO) degree.
* Maryland state license to practice medicine.
* Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
* Proven experience working as a gynecologist.
* The ability to make quick decisions.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication skills.
* Empathetic and compassionate.
