Position Overview:
The Machine Operator reports to the Production Manager/Supervisor.

As the Senior Human Resources Manager for a large Nestlé factory, you will lead the end‑to‑end HR agenda for the site, driving organizational design, executing the HR strategy, and partnering with site leadership to build a high‑performance, people‑first culture.

EDUCATION:

**POSITION SUMMARY**
Join our team as a Quality Specialist, where you'll champion quality systems and digital platforms (QMS, DMO, SAP) to ensure product excellence. **Experience and Education Requirements:**
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of Utilities, Facilities, or Production equipment maintenance.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Industrial Services Manager is accountable for the supply of industrial services (IS) for the plant, ensuring a safe, efficient, and reliable operation, maintenance of the equipment, and supply services for all areas of Industrial Services within the Schaumburg facility.

Ensure all staff are aware of requirements and their responsibility. Keep updated documentation of the plant and its compliance including a strong change management process.
* Ensure the efficient operation of all utility systems minimizing the use of natural resources, energy, and the impact on the environment. Drive resource conservation and awareness within the facility in alignment with Nestle.
* Continuous improvement and execution of capital and operational projects within the IS area utilizing NCE concepts.
* Close coordination with other departments such as quality, safety, production, finance, human resources, as well as within engineering (maintenance, stores, automation, projects) and externally with vendors, contractors, and regulatory bodies. Ensure local and corporate management is aware and aligned on all regulatory or NGO contacts.
Develop expertise in the IS discipline for continuous support and improvement of the IS operation. Participate in professional activities as required. Review industry best practices and evaluate application and benefits in the IS area.

WHAT WE NEED
The Senior Manager, Food Safety provides enterprise-wide leadership of food safety programs for a multi-site manufacturer of syrups, sauces, fillings, and aseptic beverages (both low-acid and high-acid). This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining robust food safety systems across the organization.
The role has direct oversight of the corporate regulatory team and corporate sanitation function, ensuring that all sites operate to the highest standards of food safety, regulatory compliance, and hygienic design. Enterprise Food Safety Leadership & Technical Expertise:
Lead, in partnership with Site Quality Managers, the development and implementation of Food Safety Plans, HACCP systems, prerequisite programs, and all food safety-related programs to meet regulatory and customer requirements.
Support and guide Plant Quality Managers in preparation for and execution of third-party and regulatory audits, including FDA, NYS, Cal DPH, and SQF.
Ensure sites properly execute procedures to maintain food safety and regulatory compliance across FSMA, HACCP, GMP, Pest Control, Allergen Control, Chemical Control, Formula Control, mock trace and recall, LACF, and environmental monitoring programs.

Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate new technologies or process improvements in thermal processing.

Lead validation efforts for low-acid aseptic processing and packaging systems, ensuring all processes meet FDA regulations and commercial sterility requirements.

**POSITION SUMMARY:**
The Team Leader is responsible for coordinating the activities of the Topping Production and Packaging employees.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Monitors daily activities of Topping Production and Packaging employees.
+ Assists in the training of Topping Production and Packaging employees.
+ Ensures that all necessary equipment needed for the next production run is ready, clean, and in working order prior to the start of that product.
+ Notifies supervisor or maintenance department when repairs or adjustments are beyond the scope of his or her expertise.
+ Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
+ Suggests changes in the working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of department, line or team.
+ Observes production operations and inspects product to verify conformance to specifications.
+ Observes production order to ascertain pre-production machine set up and testing, type and quantity of packaging to be used and other packaging requirements.
+ Starts, adjusts, and operates packaging machinery and notifies the Supervisor or Maintenance department when repairs or adjustments are beyond the scope of his or her expertise.
+ Inspects pizzas prior to packaging by counting, recording, and measuring against the standard.
+ Observes packaging operations and inspects finished cases to verify conformance to specifications on a regular schedule.
+ Operates auxiliary equipment associated with the operations of the packaging line.
+ Assists Supervisor in analyzing production problems and assists team members in solving them.
+ Maintains and monitors process control paperwork in accordance with HACCP recommendations, including but not limited to: time and yield efficiencies, and metal detectors.
+ Understands and performs all necessary work related to our internal computer system.
+ Ensures proper communication on pre-ops and changeovers between shifts.
+ Confers with other Leads to coordinate activities of individual departments.
+ Performs all Topping Packaging functions within each department.
+ Completes related paperwork throughout the shift and submits to operations department at the end of each shift.
+ Ensures proper communication on pre-ops and changeovers between shifts.
+ Maintains and monitors cleanliness of employees' working area.
+ Plans daily and weekly crewing levels.
+ Monitors employee's adherence to company rules and policies and recommends necessary corrective action to the Supervisor if needed.
+ Assists in reviewing and maintaining crewing levels and optimizing to meet or surpass NPF cost targets.
+ Suggests ways to control labor and supply costs as well as improve processes.
+ Ensures that all work activities are performed with attention to the highest standards for quality, safety and compliance with all appropriate legal and food safety requirements and a focus on continuous improvement.
+ Ensures that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) are followed.
+ Follows all company policies & procedures as well as the GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices).
+ Maintains a high level of safety awareness for an accident-free work place.
+ Reports any unsafe or hazardous work conditions or safety-related issues to Management.
+ Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.
**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:**
+ One to three months of food manufacturing or packaging experience.
+ Ability to work overtime, irregular hours or rotating shifts.
+ Ability to speak, write and understand English.
+ Good interpersonal, written and oral communications skills.
+ Ability to communicate and work effectively with a variety of diverse individuals within the plant.
+ Ability to establish trust and credibility with employees.
+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, formulas, and policy and procedures manuals.
+ Ability to write standard information into related paperwork.
+ Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure including but not limited to pounds, ounces, grams, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
+ Ability to compute rate, ratios, and percentages and interpret line graphs.
+ Ability to effectively present information to management.
+ Knowledge of Microsoft applications.
+ Ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment.

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $25.14. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Schedule That Works for You

Schedule: Mondays starting at 12:30pm. Tuesday through Sunday starting at 2pm. Monday through Saturday and Sunday through Friday Rotation.

What You'll Accomplish
- Conduct daily pre-operational and changeover checks
- Perform Lock Out Tag Out procedures
- Sanitize QA equipment and document sanitation checks
- Prepare daily Bill of Materials (BOMs)
- Monitor production personnel for GMP compliance
- Communicate safety, sanitation, or product issues to supervisors
- Participate in product evaluations to ensure top quality
What You Will Bring
