Advanced Troubleshooting: Utilize hydraulic and pneumatic schematics to diagnose and repair control systems for flow gates, valves, and material delivery components. A basic understanding of electrical controls (LOTO procedures, motor diagnostics, sensor troubleshooting) is required to work seamlessly with our electrical teams.
Predictive Maintenance (PdM): Implement and document lubrication schedules, track component wear, and utilize systematic inspection techniques to anticipate and prevent equipment failures.
Safety Leadership: Proactively manage LOTO procedures and uphold OSHA and Vulcan safety standards as a non-negotiable priority on every job site.

Skills You'll Need:
Experience: 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in Ready-Mix Concrete, asphalt, cement, or high-volume material handling environments.
Technical Skill: Proven expertise in industrial mechanical repair, welding/fabrication, heavy hydraulics, and power transmission systems.
Autonomy: Must be a disciplined self-starter, capable of managing a repair schedule across multiple locations with minimal direct supervision.
Certification (Preferred): Relevant certifications in welding (e.g., AWS), industrial maintenance, or millwright work are a strong asset.
Physical Ability: Must be comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces (e.g., inside mixers or silos), and outdoors in all weather conditions, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Hourly Range: the hourly range for this role is between $23.88 - $35.00. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate's compensation, we consider a number of factors, including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data. (Based on verifiable skills and experience).
Company Vehicle: Use of a fully-equipped service truck for all site travel.
