Under the direction of the Senior Director, Mineral Fiber Operations while collaborating with plant leadership teams, this leader is accountable for:
* Developing, leading and managing Mineral Fiber Operations Reliability Strategy and Standards with a focus on driving improvements in condition of assets, process heath, and work practices and skills to increase PR/OEE and reduce costs
* Identifying and implementing Mineral Fiber Operations Maintenance Management Best practices in the areas of cost control, preventive and predictive maintenance, precision skills and downday effectiveness
* Champions reliability and maintenance skill and competency development across broad operational leaders and executors in support of the Company's strategy. Develops reliability subject matter experts and capabilities across operations.

* Provide dashboards and progress reports to plant managers and the Sr Director MF Ops through weekly calls and quarterly face to face meetings
* Responsible for driving attainment of following key network KPI's: plant reliability targets maintenance cost budget, with a plan to offset inflation each year, and target % of all assets in precision state
Implement Maintenance Management System Best Practices in the following areas:

Divisional Reliability and Maintenance Skill and Competency Development:
* Organizes and leads the Mineral Fiber Operations Reliability Steering Team
* Organizes and leads the various Mineral Fiber Operations networks - maintenance managers, stores, PdM, etc
* Work with HR to define competencies, hiring practices, and developmental and progression plans for various reliability capabilities such as maintenance managers, maintenance supervisors and reliability engineers
* Assess progress of capabilities and competencies and manage annual plans to develop the skills needed to support required PR/OEE levels
* Assist in the development, recruitment, and retention of maintenance leadership and specific competencies
* Organize and lead reliability and maintenance conferences for various networks

Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in engineering. Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
* Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing, maintenance and plant leadership experience
* Supervisory experience
* Demonstration of effective interactive skills with all levels of the organization to drive improvements and actions and facilitate behavioral change related to eliminating reliability defects
* Experience with equipment maintenance techniques, such as Precision Maintenance and TPM.
* Experience with continuous improvement processes and best practices, including Lean Manufacturing

As a Maintenance Scheduler/Planner, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the maintenance activities and schedules for our organization's facilities and equipment. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ( not all inclusive):
Maintenance Planning: Collaborate with maintenance teams, operations, vendors and suppliers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive maintenance plans. Review work requests, prioritize tasks, and determine appropriate scheduling and resources required. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance best practices.
Preventive Maintenance: Develop and maintain a preventive and predictive maintenance program, including regular inspections, lubrications, and servicing schedules. Coordinate with maintenance technicians to schedule and execute preventive and predictive maintenance tasks. Continuously assess the effectiveness of preventive and predictive maintenance strategies and recommend improvements.
Work Order Management: Process and review maintenance work orders. Assess the nature of the work, determine required resources and skill sets, and assign tasks accordingly. Ensure accuracy and completeness of work orders, including detailed instructions, materials, and estimated durations.
Schedule Optimization: Develop and manage maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability. Optimize the allocation of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure efficient and effective execution of maintenance activities. Coordinate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance activities during planned downtime.
Parts and Inventory Management: Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure timely availability of necessary parts, tools, and materials for maintenance activities. Monitor stock levels, initiate purchase requests, and maintain accurate inventory records. Identify opportunities for inventory optimization and cost savings.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities, including work orders, schedules, maintenance histories, and equipment performance data. Generate reports on maintenance performance, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement. Provide regular updates and communication to stakeholders regarding maintenance schedules and progress.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs. Participate in cross-functional teams and initiatives focused on implementing best practices and continuous improvement methodologies. Proactively seek feedback from maintenance technicians and stakeholders to drive process enhancements.

QUALIFICATIONS:
BS Engineering, Associate Technical Degree or a High school diploma with 2 plus years of relevant technical experience. Certifications or additional education in maintenance management or leadership is a plus.

Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or similar maintenance management software.

About the Role
The Maintenance & Machining Supervisor contributes to the success of the plant by providing day-to-day maintenance leadership and technical support to the Maintenance and Machine shop crews. In this role, you will lead a team of frontline employees within the maintenance department (mechanics/machinists).

Working knowledge of OSHA 1910, NFPA 70E, LOTO, hot work, confined space, and contractor safety management.
Ability to read/interpret mechanical/electrical drawings, P&IDs, and single-line diagrams.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365; basic CAD exposure is a plus.
Project management skills: planning, risk identification, change control, and stakeholder alignment.
Regular presence on the plant floor and in mechanical spaces (boiler room, compressor room, rooftops).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, work at heights, and traverse uneven surfaces.
Exposure to heat/cold, noise, and outdoor weather; appropriate PPE required.
Ability to operate forklifts and aerial lifts (training provided).

Competency

Maintenance Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for maintaining all machinery and equipment in working order while maintaining environmental and safety compliance at all times. The Maintenance Coordinator will assist the Maintenance Supervisor in directing the day-to-day activities of the maintenance department.
Essential Functions/Duties:
• Ensure all environmental and safety procedures are followed and report all unsafe or non-compliant activities.
• Maintain mechanical equipment to remain operational including chemical transfer pumps, vacuum pumps, valves, etc.
• Maintain electrical equipment to remain operational including breaker boxes, power supplies, and lighting, etc.
• Complete work orders for issues with equipment.
• Prompt response to operational downtime.
• Maintain and follow preventative maintenance programs with accurate record keeping.
• Install new equipment including running new electrical wire and/or piping as directed.
• Keep the shop area clean and compliant with all safety programs.
• Troubleshoot operational problems and work with engineers as directed.
• Proactively detect, diagnose and repair potential issues using PM and inspection tools.
• Attend all training sessions and safety meetings.
• Support team development to include one-on-one training with all new maintenance employees.
• Support Hoover's transition from reactive maintenance to proactive maintenance.
• Computer duties as necessary.
• Other duties as directed.
Qualifications:
• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance required (5 years minimum)
• Ability to perform cutting, grinding and welding activities.
• Willingness to learn the treating plant operation.
• Ability to identify worn parts and knowledge of how to replace them.
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve problems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to lead and work effectively with people regardless of their age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, or job type.
• Ability to demonstrate behaviors conforming to Hoover's set of values and accepted standards.
• Ability to be self-motivated to perform a task using his or her own drive or initiative.
• Be comfortable working within Windows based programs, using a word processor, and email. Must have a good knowledge of spreadsheets.
Work Environment:
Indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Can be hot, cold, humid, and/or rain.
Training Requirements:
Immediately upon hire or assignment to the Kiln Operator position, training will take place in Safety and Environmental programs. Annual training over all programs.
