Production Supervisor, will oversee the makeup area, ensuring smooth production operations and maintaining a focus on safety, sanitation, and quality. Your role involves coordinating with previous supervisors, monitoring the production floor, addressing employee issues, and upholding high standards in cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols. Role & Responsibilities * Meet with previous supervisors to discuss any issues from the prior shift. * Manage employee callouts by arranging replacements when necessary. * Review the current production run list to ensure alignment with schedule and quality standards. * Conduct a comprehensive walkthrough of the makeup floor, recording essential information on relevant sheets. * Address and resolve any problems or issues with employees promptly. * Record all employee injuries on the appropriate documents. * Ensure employees are performing required tasks, including Quality Check sheets, recording dough schedules, monitoring product temperatures, maintaining housekeeping standards, and working safely. * Fill out a shift report for each day worked, documenting key activities and observations. * Communicate any major issues to the Production Manager. Safety: Maintain a safe working environment for all employees/contractors. Promote safety in all areas of operations. Sanitation: * Maintain cleanliness of the work area. * Follow proper Good Manufacturing Practices (G.M.P.s) at all times. * Other Related Duties: * Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Production Superintendent or Assistant Production Superintendent. Requirements & Physical Demands * Ability to arrive to work on time consistently. * Five or more years in plant sanitation management. Preferably in an industrial bakery Effective written and verbal communication skills. * Demonstrated knowledge in pest control. * Able to read, comprehend and practice necessary safety procedures, signs, etc. * Able to lift up to 50 pounds. * Have the ability to stand and/or stoop for the full shift. * Working holidays and weekends is frequently required. * Must be 18 years or older.
