The Technical Trainer is the primary instructor/trainer on Habasit belting products and end user applications which use Habasit belting products. This role has the main responsibility for planning the training curriculum and instructing new and tenured customer care representatives and sales associates. The Technical Trainer shall also monitor and measure outcomes and effectiveness of his/her training initiatives; and improve learning solutions to better reach targeted results when necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Responsible for Habasit belting product training and customer applications training
Provides an engaging instructional experience utilizing effective training methodologies, techniques, concepts, tools and practices, and which aims full retention of information presented during training sessions.
Responsible for curating existing training materials and for development of new/improved content when existing content is not available
Responsible for grading and training record management of trainees
Responsible for identifying training needs and trainee needs commensurate with business objectives, position requirements, and consulting with management when applicable.
Assists with implementation, facilitation and maintenance of e-learning initiatives related to product training.
Must be available for both in person (live) and virtual training situations
Secondary responsibility, as time permits, to lead the development and instruction on Habasit products for customer education/marketing purposes
Responsible for operating within budgetary requirements

Follow all housekeeping and safety regulations.
Fills out necessary paperwork. (Emaint program, RMA documentation, Tool Repair, etc.)
Manage assigned workload and prioritize to minimize productivity losses.
Perform Lockout / tag out procedures as a Habasit "Authorized Associate".
Assist other Maintenance personnel.
Perform janitorial duties as directed. (Housekeeping, machine cleaning, facility cleaning, etc.)
Perform snow removal.
Perform grounds keeping tasks as directed.
Work during off shift hours to help out in emergency situations.
Working with industrial/automated equipment.
Metal fabrication, welding, grinding, cutting, Etc.
Electrical knowledge and troubleshooting. (Sensors, switches, contactors, etc.)
Mechanical - has changed electrical motors, gearbox's, drives, chains, sprockets, etc.
Works with high voltage 230/480 volt.
Has worked on pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
Can read and understand electrical prints and symbols.
Some knowledge of PLC's.
Can size electrical circuits and bend conduit.
Heights (30'+) can work off boom lifts and scissor lifts.
Second Shift Position - 3:30pm - 12:00am (Competitive Base Pay + $1.00/hr. shift differential); MUST be willing to work first shift (7a-3:30p) for training initially.

What will you be doing?
You will be responsible for collaborating with team members in packing and timely shipping of customer orders, utilizing machines safely, selecting the appropriate carrier, and maintaining precise records using the computer system. In addition to this, the Shipping Clerk will be responsible for stocking finished goods and maintaining proper documentation. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION - CORE:

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION - PRODUCTION:
Follow all safety guidelines when operating machines.
Verify order is correct.
Properly pack the customer order to prevent damage.
Ensure customer or Habasit routing is followed.
Select the appropriate carrier.
Ensure all document are included with shipment.
Use computer system(s) Epicor, Shipping & Fed-Ex Power Ship.
Pull & stock Finished Belts or Parts.
Produce daily driver manifest or Bill of Lading.
To keep work station organized on a daily basis.
To keep boxes stored and readily available.
To keep supporting document file.
Sweeping & Cleaning outside parking by Receiving Door will be required at times.
Keep desk areas and aisles clean (5S Principles).
Maintain own productivity while performing the duties mentioned above.
Any other duties as assigned.
