Position Overview

The Division offers a broad spectrum of services, including general and transplant infectious disease management, and collaborates closely with the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine and the Hackensack Meridian Health Research Institute.

Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Division of Infectious Diseases across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Oversee all teaching activities related to medical students, residents, and continuing medical education, including bedside training, didactic sessions, and conference development.

Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive clinical care for patients with a wide range of pulmonary diseases, including COPD, asthma, and interstitial lung disease.
Diagnose, treat, and manage sleep-related disorders such as sleep apnea, insomnia, and narcolepsy.
Conduct patient consultations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, including pulmonary function tests (PFTs) and sleep studies.
Develop and implement effective, evidence-based treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and timely patient records using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists to ensure coordinated patient care.
Participate in a light, shared outpatient call schedule.

Current DEA registration.
