Position Overview:
The Program Director will provide strategic and operational leadership for the Family Medicine Residency Program, ensuring full compliance with ACGME and institutional requirements. The Medical Director will serve as a role model for compassionate, evidence-based care, and an advocate for both patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Family Medicine Residency Program in collaboration with department and institutional leadership.
Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of the residency curriculum, ensuring alignment with ACGME milestones and competencies.
Recruit, mentor, and develop residents and faculty to foster excellence in teaching, research, and clinical practice.
Ensure continuous program improvement through data-driven assessment, scholarly activity, and adherence to accreditation standards.
Direct and support quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction.
Maintain clinical engagement (approximately 20% clinical time) providing high-quality, patient-centered care within the Family Medicine Center.
Oversee compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations related to residency education and clinical operations.
Collaborate with health system leadership on strategic planning, budgeting, and staff development initiatives.
Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the residency program and clinical environment.
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree with Board Certification in Family Medicine (ABFM or AOA).
Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in graduate medical education and clinical practice.
Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, faculty mentorship, and quality improvement initiatives.
Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, manage complex academic programs, and drive innovation in medical education.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Eligibility for medical licensure in New Jersey.

Maintains inventory of repair parts, supplies, and technical manuals necessary to maintain devices.
Orders repair parts and/or components and supplies as required using the ERP system.
Performs incoming inspections on new, trial, and demonstration equipment before they are placed into patient service.
Oversee incoming and outgoing equipment for repair and maintain the equipment log.
Performs preventive maintenance inspections procedures to optimize performance, reliability, and projected life expectancy of Medical Center instrumentation.
Documents and refers high-risk device failures to the BMET I-IV for repair.

The auditor reviews professional fee billing, coding and documentation. Reviews to be performed are identified based on the then-current OIG Workplan and compliance risk analyses. Under the supervision of the Chief Compliance Officer, auditors are responsible for supporting the corporate compliance program, responsibilities include:
Performance of timely and effective compliance and operational reviews to assess coding, documentation and billing accuracy, identify compliance related risks, internal control weaknesses, revenue capture opportunities and assist in determining the root cause of any identified non-compliance with government rules and regulations, state laws and Cooper policies and procedures

Experience Required

The ideal candidate will have ITIL Service Management experience within a health care environment. Seasoned experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tool is preferred.

The EEG Technician performs routine awake and asleep EEG's, portable EEG's, and long-term monitoring with and without video EEG-examination on both in-patients and out-patients.
Responsibilities:
* Test set up utilizing the international 10-20 electrode placement system to include manual measurement, skin prep and electrode application.
* Use activating procedures such as hyperventilation, photic stimulation and sleep.
* Provide proper knowledge of montage selection based on patient condition.
* Provide critical thinking and skill to recognize and correct artifact accordingly.
* Successfully trouble-shoot equipment and leads appropriately. Collect information pertinent to the interpretation of the test.
* At the completion of all studies, properly remove electrodes, clean patient/equipment, and process documents.
* Monitor and document a patient's condition and respond to, and report any adverse reaction.

Under the direction of the team Supervisor and/or Manager, the Collections Specialist II will be responsible for Accounts Receivable tasks related to Cooper Universtiy Professional provider revenue cycle and collections. Duties will be performed in a fast-paced central billing office environment.
The PB Collections Specialist will be flexible and responsive to changing priorities.
The candidate will act as the customer experience agent between third-party payors, Cooper University Health Care patients and internal departments.
The incumbent will be responsible for high volume and timely invoice/account resolution. The Collections Specialist II will be able to review and translate Explanations of Benefits as well as payor contract/benefit plan language.
The incumbent will maintain a collaborative relationship with all levels of staff, internal and external customers.
The Collections Specialist will be required to maintain all PHI/PII in accordance with Federal, State and CUHC polices and procedures
Experience Required
2 - 3 years Accounts Receivable resolution preferred with a strong focus on customer experience
Familiarity with third-party billing processes including CPT/HCPCS and ICD-10 knowledge is desired. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical record review and reimbursement analysis is preferred. Experience may also include appeals processing, denial or rejection analysis and resolution and medical billing guidelines as it relates to the job function.
Epic experience is a plus
