**Position Overview**
The A&P Mechanic is responsible to perform aircraft maintenance and/or repairs in accordance with applicable "HAECO Airframe Services", FAA, and customer standards of quality. This includes organizing his/her work plan in an efficient and resourceful manner. The A&P Mechanic is responsible to work in a safe manner, eliminating waste, and delivering a quality product.
+ Perform such typical maintenance operations as the removal and replacement of aircraft and powerplant components that require bolting, torquing, adjusting, rigging, and safety wiring to include powerplant, and flight control removal/installation.
+ Troubleshoot, repair, clean, service, inspect, modify, replace, and/or overhaul aircraft and aircraft systems using approved/acceptable data to ensure airworthiness.
+ Follow all applicable instructions for Continued Airworthiness without exception to accomplish a specific task.
+ Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
+ Perform work with efficiency to minimize time required to perform the task.
+ Follow all safety procedures and specifications with appropriate PPE.
+ Maintain work documentation reflective of progress for work being accomplished.
+ Use and operate ground support equipment, as applicable and if qualified, in a safe manner.
+ Complete assignments with little or no rework.
+ Act as a mentor and help train less experienced technicians.
+ Interface effectively with members of management, other departments, and co-workers.
+ Perform other work as instructed by the A&P Lead or Maintenance Supervisor.
**What you need: (Requirements)**
+ High School diploma or equivalent.
+ FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate.
+ Must provide own tools as indicated on company tool list.
+ Language (read, write, speak, and understand English).
+ Be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and/or stand for prolonged periods of time and climb ladders and/or service stands.
+ Subject to noise more than 85 db.
+ Must be able to be fitted with a full-face respirator. Employees with facial hair will be required to purchase a hood to meet respirator requirements.
+ Capable of lifting fifty (50) pounds.
+ Job requires participation in the DOT random drug and alcohol testing program.
+ Normal or corrective hearing.
+ Minimum visual acuity of 20/40 corrected.
+ May be exposed to hazardous chemicals and requires the use of all safety equipment.

+ Two (2) years aircraft maintenance experience on transport category aircraft.

Responsibilities
Perform diagnosis, repairs, inspections and preventative maintenance for non-contractual customers. May assist higher-grade maintenance specialists and assist them in completing complex repairs.
Perform routine vehicle maintenance including, but not limited to, tune-ups, oil changes, tire changes, fuel filter changes, fluid checks, alignments, basic suspension replacement and light and mirror replacements
Assist or receive guidance from a higher-grade maintenance specialist to diagnose, repair or replace engines parts including but not limited to alternators, starts, radiators, and injectors, transmissions and other fuel components.
Perform basic diagnostics.
Hydraulic brake inspections, repairs, and replacements
May operate out of mobile maintenance vehicle and travel to customer yards within assigned region
Possess general knowledge and understanding of the Torque products and services
Represent Torque/Ryder to establish a relationship with the customer
Ensure proper documentation of work orders, customer repair authorizations, and repair notes within Salesforce
Perform environmental duties such as site inspections, site clean-ups/disposals, vehicle chemicals with some guidance and direction
Work in accordance with all federal/regional and corporate compliance guidelines
Performs other duties as assigned

Diesel Mechanic Position Summary:
This position is required to safely and accurately perform general property and vehicle maintenance & repair duties in and around the shop operations in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge and understanding basic preventative maintenance and repair techniques of Class 5 through Class 8 commercial vehicles to include tank trailer inspection and maintenance related to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations is required.
Diesel Mechanic Essential Functions:
All fleet mechanic positions will be required to perform vehicle maintenance & repair duties safely and accurately in and around the shop operations in a fast-paced environment.
Fleet Mechanic Apprentices will receive hands on training and instruction on preventive maintenance/inspections/repairs of Class 5 through Class 8 Commercial Vehicles and maintenance/inspection of tank trailers.
Fleet Mechanic Levels I & II will learn and become proficient utilizing the company's maintenance software program to create and complete work orders and maintain work order/vehicle maintenance records. They will also train/assist other technicians in performing preventive/repair of facilities and equipment to include trucks, tractors, and trailers.
Fleet Mechanic Level III will build on the duties from Diesel Mechanic I/II and become qualified as necessary with appropriate certifications to perform new technology evaluations, diagnosis, and repairs.
HM183 will build on the duties of a Level III Diesel Mechanic, Certified as a (DOT) commercial motor vehicle inspector in compliance with FMCSR's
Has been signing test forms as the Registered Inspector for at least 3 years.

Requirements for HM183 Positions:

Verifiable proof of 3-year tank testing commercial motor vehicle inspector in compliance with FMSCR or has at least 1 year of verifiable experience under a qualified inspector with the ability to obtain (DOT) commercial motor vehicle inspector certification through KAG

Diesel Mechanic Position Summary:
This position is required to safely and accurately perform general property and vehicle maintenance & repair duties in and around the shop operations in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge and understanding basic preventative maintenance and repair techniques of Class 5 through Class 8 commercial vehicles to include tank trailer inspection and maintenance related to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations is required.
Diesel Mechanic Essential Functions:
All fleet mechanic positions will be required to perform vehicle maintenance & repair duties safely and accurately in and around the shop operations in a fast-paced environment.
Fleet Mechanic Apprentices will receive hands on training and instruction on preventive maintenance/inspections/repairs of Class 5 through Class 8 Commercial Vehicles and maintenance/inspection of tank trailers.
Fleet Mechanic Levels I & II will learn and become proficient utilizing the company's maintenance software program to create and complete work orders and maintain work order/vehicle maintenance records. Fleet Mechanic Level III will build on the duties from Diesel Mechanic I/II and become qualified as necessary with appropriate certifications to perform new technology evaluations, diagnosis, and repairs.
HM183 will build on the duties of a Level III Diesel Mechanic, Certified as a (DOT) commercial motor vehicle inspector in compliance with FMCSR's
Has been signing test forms as the Registered Inspector for at least 3 years.

Responsibilities - Service Technician:
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer guidelines
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.

**Position Overview**
The A&P Mechanic is responsible to perform aircraft maintenance and/or repairs in accordance with applicable "HAECO Airframe Services", FAA, and customer standards of quality. This includes organizing his/her work plan in an efficient and resourceful manner. The A&P Mechanic is responsible to work in a safe manner, eliminating waste, and delivering a quality product.
