This position is located in FORT WORTH, TEXAS.
Job Summary
: Preserve the quality standards of products by the inspection of incoming materials, in-process work, finished products, and recording the quality results
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Read blueprints and use inspection equipment
Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced (primarily machined parts)
Inspection and measuring equipment calibration duties (machine shop related equipment)
Develop and conduct various inspections on inbound materials from suppliers and outbound internally made products (machined parts and assemblies)
Ensure that the quality check procedure in place are followed during every manufacturing phase
Create comprehensive documentation for quality issues and document the corrective actions that were taken
Educate the manufacturing team on quality control issues and work with departmental supervisors to improve overall product quality
Create process checklists and coordinate quality inspections with departmental supervisors

JOB SUMMARY: This position inspects all fabrication and construction work to ensure it is performed in accordance with project plans and specifications and complies in all respects with standards and methods set out in the project Quality Plan and with client requirements and specifications. The inspector conducts quality assurance surveillance on materials and services provided by vendors, fabrication facilities, and/or subcontractors. Communication with the Project Quality Control Manager or Lead will be required.ager on a daily basis will be required.

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Implement, practice, and continually lead by example Doyon Energy Services' commitment to zero incident safety and environmental culture.
* Implement the project construction quality program at the job site.
* Provide technical support to the project field team for interpretation of various codes, specifications, and regulations
* Carry out all quality control activities, including inspection, examination, and testing, to verify that the quality of welding, installed materials, and finished work complies with all aspects of the project specifications and requirements.
* Participate in construction meetings with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and fabrication facilities to ensure compliance with and understanding of project requirements, applicable specification sections, and expected quality workmanship.
* Implement quality control intervention points on inspection and test plans to include surveillance, witness, mandatory inspection, and record review.
* Complete appropriate quality control forms during and after inspection of work; submit completed forms to supervisor daily.
* Assist in ensuring vital records are retained and kept current for inclusion in document turnover packages.
* Closely work with DAL managers and supervisors to ensure understanding and compliance with all project requirements.
* Review and understand project requirements, assist in ensuring all construction activities comply with project requirements.
* Implement project quality control procedures, inspections, and test plans, and witness and record construction procedures.
* Perform surveillance inspection over subcontractors, vendors, and fabrication facilities to ensure compliance in all respects with project specifications and standards.

* Ensure testing is performed per referenced standards.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
* AWS Certified Welding Inspector Certificate required.
* 5 years preferred, minimum 2 years of QC Inspection pipeline project experience required.
* Experience with welding/inspecting all diameters of carbon steel and alloy material (S/S, Duplex, Inconel lined, etc.) pipe joints and associated non-destructive weld testing procedures required in accordance with client specifications.
* Preferred NACE Coating Inspector certification and related experience in application and inspection of shop and field-applied coating systems preferred.
* Knowledge of the function and operating parameters of coating test equipment.
* Construction field experience in the Arctic pipeline industry.
* Government, Oil and Gas industry experience.
COMPETENCIES:
