Annual Base Salary for newly appointed BPAs varies per grade, as follows:
GL-5/GL-7 $49,739 - $89,518 per year
Duty location impacts pay rates; locality pay for federal law enforcement is higher in some locations than others. A fully trained BPA may be eligible for up to an additional 25% of base pay per the BPA Pay Reform Act of 2014. This is a career ladder position with a grade level progression of GL-5, GL-7, GL-9, GS-11, and GS-12. You will be eligible for a promotion to the next higher grade level (without reapplying) once you successfully complete 52 weeks in each grade level.

Duties and Responsibilities
As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity. Being a BPA makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) profession.
Typical assignments include:
Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and custom laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations
Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions to include using infrared scopes during night operations
Interpreting and following tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband
Performing farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, and transportation checks
Patrolling the international boundary and coastal waterways using a variety of government assets such as vehicles, horses, vessels, watercraft, off-road vehicles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and motorcycles for the accomplishment of the USBP Mission.
Qualifications
You qualify for the GL-5 grade level if you possess one of the following:
Experience: One (1) year of general work experience that demonstrates the ability to take charge, make sound decisions, and maintain composure in stressful situations; to learn regulations, methods, and techniques through classroom training and/or on-the-job instruction; and the ability to gather concise information through questioning, observation, and examination of documents and records; OR
Education Substitution: A bachelor's degree or successful completion of a full four-year course of study in
any field
leading to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; OR
Combination of Experience and Education: A combination of general work experience AND successfully completed college education. This will be calculated using your resume and official or unofficial transcripts submitted with your application.

Make sound judgments and decisions in the use of firearms.

Education Substitution for the GL-7 grade level: A bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement, which is based on (1) class standing, (2) grade-point average (i.e., GPA of 3.0 or higher out of a possible 4.0), or (3) honor society membership. Or will receive a bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement. Or one full year of graduate-level education in a field of study related to law enforcement (e.g., criminal justice, homeland security, justice studies, law enforcement, courts and judicial systems, forensic technology, forensic psychology, or corrections and rehabilitation) from an accredited college or university; OR
A Combination of Experience and Education: This will be calculated using your resume and official or unofficial transcripts submitted with your application.

Other Requirements
Citizenship: You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for this position.
Residency: You must have had primary U.S. residency (includes protectorates as declared under international law) for at least three of the last five years.
Age Restriction: In accordance with Public Law 100-238, this position is covered under law enforcement retirement provisions. Candidates must be referred for selection to the Border Patrol Agent position before reaching their 40th birthday in accordance with Department of Homeland Security Directive 251-03. The age restriction may not apply if you are currently serving or have previously served in a federal civilian law enforcement (non-military) position covered by Title 5 U.S.C. 8336(c) or Title 5 U.S.C. 8412(d).
Veterans' Preference: You may also be eligible for an excepted service Veterans Recruitment Appointment (VRA). The age restriction does not apply if you are Veterans' Preference eligible.
Formal Training: After you are hired, you will be detailed to the U.S. Border Patrol Academy in Artesia, New Mexico, for approximately six (6) months of intensive instruction in immigration and nationality laws, law enforcement and USBP-specific operations, driver training, physical techniques, firearms, and other courses. The Q Family Office is looking for a bright, eager, and dedicated individual to join its highly successful multi-billion-dollar private investment office in downtown Fort Worth. This person will be part of a team led by a 25-year veteran of the firm, all of whom assist the CEO in managing personal and business scheduling, travel coordination, organizational matters, photo and video archives, and research projects. This person will handle a variety of projects in an array of disciplines, which keeps the work fast paced and ever-changing. Someone who is already very organized and great with details is a must.

General Purpose
The role of a Controls Technician is to provide competent and effective electrical and controls support to Plant operations. The Controls Technician must ensure plant electrical and control systems are installed, maintained and modified in accordance with local, state and national electrical safety codes. The Controls Technical must identify, troubleshoot and repair problems in electrical and controls wiring and programming that occur in production equipment and systems and able to work with voltages up to 600V, three-phase & single-phase A/C circuits, transformers, switchgear, and motor control centers. Duties and Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and control systems to include disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and calibration.
Understand how to read and translate the information found within building and process blueprints and one-line diagrams to install outlets, circuits, load centers and other forms of electrical equipment.
After installing the electrical equipment, test all connections to ensure all components are working properly and safely.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and controls issues in industrial equipment and processes using experience, system knowledge and proper instruments appropriate to the voltages and currents encountered.
Meet and follow local, state and national electrical codes.
Maintain motor control centers (MCC's), switchgear, industrial robots, electronic controllers on mechanized tools, as well as transformers and generators.
Communicate with management, engineers, mechanics, and equipment operators to advise them if there are any potential electrical hazards.
Install fiber optic cables, coaxial wires and computers in support of plant telecommunications systems.
Execute the maintenance work schedule as provided by his/her supervisor. Proper execution of the work schedule will require strategic decisions to ensure the scheduled work will be completed within the period scheduled.
Keep the assigned Plant Controls Specialist informed of all issues which may affect the operational capability of the area processes and equipment.
Examine jobs to be done and determine scope and best way to accomplish the work. Consult with requester, maintenance planner, and/or supervisor when necessary.
Obtain one-lines, drawings, instructional manuals and special procedures, as needed, from files or other sources. Make any additional sketches, diagrams, etc., necessary to clarify the intent of the work order.
Ensure the safety needs are given a top priority in operations support and work execution. Some examples are Arc Flash/Shock Hazard safety, confined space entry, LOTO, hazardous materials, hand tool safe use, etc.
Update the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) as necessary to maintain accurate plant asset historical records.
Have complete knowledge of plant's processes and packaging systems.
Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) in the execution of the work schedule and operational support. Ensure the shop is maintained in a safe and orderly fashion.
Enforce plant polices in the execution of their assigned duties.
Protect the integrity and quality of product at all times.
Attend meetings and supports continuous improvement initiatives.
Recommend equipment to be included in preventive maintenance programs.

Promote the conservation of energy and water.

The Corporate Strategy Analyst supports Landmark's long-term growth and competitive positioning by delivering data-driven insights on industry trends, market dynamics, and strategic opportunities. This role plays a key part in shaping Landmark's perspective on the water infrastructure industry and adjacent markets by translating complex market data into clear, actionable recommendations. The Analyst partners closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to inform strategic planning, support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities, and identify opportunities for business expansion and diversification.
Responsibilities and Duties
Essential Functions:
Conduct in-depth research and analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments within the water infrastructure industry and related sectors.
Develop, document, and regularly update Landmark's point of view on the industry, including emerging trends, regulatory changes, customer needs, and technological advancements.
Prepare, analyze, and present clear, actionable reports, dashboards, and briefings for senior leadership that highlight market opportunities, risks, and strategic recommendations.
Identify, assess, and evaluate adjacent markets, technologies, and services that align with Landmark's growth strategy and long-term business objectives.
Maintain, validate, and enhance proprietary market and competitive data sets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevance for strategic planning and investment decisions.
Support M&A activities by conducting market research, competitive benchmarking, and industry analysis, and by assisting with commercial due diligence on potential acquisition targets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including strategy, business development, sales, operations, and finance, to integrate market intelligence into business planning and execution.
Monitor, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to market share, growth trends, and competitive positioning.
Assist in the development of strategic presentations, investment materials, and executive-level content for internal and external stakeholders.
Stay current on industry news, conferences, publications, and regulatory developments to inform leadership of relevant trends and risks proactively.
Ensure compliance with data privacy, confidentiality, and ethical standards in all research, analysis, and reporting activities.
Qualifications and KSA
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, finance, economics, or a related field is required.
MBA or equivalent advanced degree is strongly preferred.
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, market intelligence, investment analysis, or industry research.
Prior experience in water infrastructure, construction, engineering services, utilities, or related industries is preferred.
Exposure to or experience supporting M&A activities, strategic initiatives, or growth planning is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong ability to synthesize complex qualitative and quantitative market data into clear, actionable insights.
Proficiency in market research methodologies, financial and competitive analysis, and data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, BI tools).
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to senior leadership and non-technical audiences.
Solid understanding of corporate strategy concepts, competitive dynamics, and growth frameworks.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization when managing data sets and analyses.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across functional teams and organizational levels.
