Part Time Night The Polysomnography Tech 2, under the direction of the Manager, coordinates the daily operations of the Sleep Laboratory. Within this framework, responsible for monitoring and accessing Sleep Lab quality, policies and procedures, staff and equipment performance. Communicates and educates patients and families regarding sleep disorders and treatments. Consults with referring physicians regarding patient results. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE Performs polysomnographic studies in a clinical setting, including oxygen and nasal continuous positive airway pressure titrations. Scores studies and formulates reports for physician interpretation. Documents all pertinent patient events according to department policy. Communicates instructions, results, and relative information to patients, physicians, and family members. Short Description * EXCITING NEW RATES!! * Assists interventionalists in all procedures within the scope of interventional Radiology and Vascular surgery to include but not limited to oncology, vascular and trauma. * Skill set must be maintained to handle supplies/instrumentation associated with interventional procedures. * Must be able to assist physicians in the capacity of both a scrub and circulating technologist. * Maintains work area: Reports maintenance issues for equipment, monitors supplies and deficiencies. Adheres to all Infection Prevention policies, utilizing the appropriate PPE needed. * Maintains licensure and BLS. Stays current and participates departmental training offered. * Demonstrates courteous behavior, positive attitude, etc. through polite communication with all co- workers/customers. * Understands and appreciates the need to provide good customer service, both internal and external. * Participates in clinical activities (i.e. assists with patient flow/care, helps to optimize throughput of patients via Radiology Transport). * Remains compliant of timekeeping rules: Avoids early, late and unauthorized entries. * Adheres to Departmental procedures, fulfills compliance with life safety, fire and hazardous waste, Radiation Safety, and Infection Prevention requirements. * Attends staff meetings and reviews daily huddles to keep current on department communications. Experience Required 1-2 year of Interventional Radiology or Cardiovascular Interventional Technology preferred Education Requirements Graduate of AMA approved program for Diagnostic Radiology and therefore registry eligible. NJ DEP license required upon hire. License/Certification Requirements Current BLS. Current ARRT - American Registry Radiology Tech License. Current NJ-RADTECH - NJ Radiology Tech License

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED required. Six months of experience working in a human services organization. 30 hours of college credits can be substituted for experience. Experience working with individuals with mental illness preferred. Some knowledge of mental illness preferred. SCHEDULE 40 hours/week SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Valid driver's license required. Must pass a level II background and drug screen.
