The subsequent connection of Route I-390 North with the Parkway further linked the metropolitan area with the town. Its growth was stimulated in part by the completion of the Lake Ontario State Parkway in 1950, giving easy access to major highways as well as its lakefront communities and Hamlin Beach State Park.
One of these at North Hamlin which closed in 1956, was the last one-room school in Monroe County.
In the 1960's, HAMLIN introduced its barrel-shape watch case with hidden lugs and adjustable steel mesh bracelet.
By 1970 that number jumped to 4167, which nearly doubled during the following decade to 7675.
Hamlin Bank marks 125th Anniversary in 1988
The population of Hamlin in 1990 was 2,791.
In 1992 Mike and Terry became equal partners and formed Wing-Hamlin Company.

Terry Wing passed away unexpectedly in February 2014.
In 2017 Terry's son, Cory, became a full partner in the company.
