She donated the land to the county where the hospital currently sits, and in 1951, Hancock Memorial Hospital was established.
Fannie Andis passed on March 6, 1972.
Incorporated in 1994, SHO serves its owners by providing a collaborative forum to facilitate desired integrations and outcomes, while allowing care to remain local and preserving deep-rooted ties to hospital communities.
In 1998, the Hancock Physician Network was established to provide high-quality health care for Hancock County’s growing population.
In 2000, to meet the growing health and wellness needs of the community, Hancock Regional Hospital relocated its fitness facility, Lifetime Fitness, to a new and larger 33,000-square-foot facility in Greenfield.
In 2005, the hospital was renamed Hancock Regional Hospital.
In June of 2011 the Andis Women's and Children Unit Opened.
