Primary Responsibility: Under general supervision, the Forklift Operator will ensure safe and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of food products utilizing equipment including, but not limited to, sit down and stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, stand-up straddle trucks, walk behinds, pallet jacks, double pallet jacks and radio frequency equipment. One year of manufacturing experience preferred, previous experience in the casting industry in a plus. Ability to interpret instructions given and apply experience and training throughout the course of the day for each production job assigned. Ability to use precision measuring instruments, test equipment or other devices where interpretation is required. Ability to perform duties in manufacturing environment which may include exposure to noise, dust and varying temperatures. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
