Is it okay place to start if you want to stay at the bottom.
Backstabbing co-workers, Front end Manager loves to create drama, who is two faced and loves to stir distrust and dissension between employees. No pay raises, benefits, management who were hired off the street and having no experience in the health and beauty industry. A Massage Envy ripoff with owners who do not care for their employees and will change the rules when it makes it easier to make a dollar. A very negative atmosphere where you can't wait to leave. Management loves to create fear among workers and try to make look embarrassing. No respect given while continually micromanaging, finding fault where there isn't any instead of doing their jobs to improve business.
There were no perks. The owner was just greedy and money grabbing.
Oh the leadership was a joke. Management was absolutely gutless when confronted. Very good at barking orders over a text and being very threatening and demeaning but when you got in their face they backed off faster than you've ever seen anything.
Fire the management. Have owners sell her franchise to someone who actually cares for employees.
I don't have to prepare anything I just went there and got the job. They have a bad history of turn around and keeping good employees and literally just hire anyone off the street.
The most fulfilling part of the job for me was knowing I can make a difference in one person's life. It may be one person at a time but that's a start.
It is below the norm. The pay scale is laughable.
They need to get over that representation of diverse demographic and hire people who actually know how to do their job regardless of their race Creef or color.
