Skilled Maintenance Person (Mechanic) First Line Report: Operations Supervisor Second Line Report: Operations Manager Employee Status: Full-time Exempt/ Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt The Skilled Maintenance Person (mechanic), under the general direction of the Operations Supervisor, is responsible for performing a variety of skilled maintenance tasks within the MetroParks. It is the responsibility of the Skilled Maintenance Person to complete all assigned duties, tasks, instructions, and/or work orders in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. Typical duties include vehicle maintenance and repair. Other duties include but are not limited to maintenance activities associated with the trades of carpentry, painting, drywall, electrical, roofing, forestry, welding, excavation, paving, concrete, masonry, HVAC, landscaping, janitorial, snow removal, metal work, pest management, and equipment repair work. This position is suitable for transitional duty. Primary Responsibilities 1.
