Duties may include, but are not limited to the following: * Cleans and removes debris, weeds, and litter from parks, landscapes, facilities, and other City property by shoveling, raking, sweeping, and picking up debris. * Assist in loading, transporting, and unloading equipment, materials, debris, and other heavy objects related to maintenance. * Helps repair and maintain fences, playground equipment, gates, and walks and walkways using a hammer, saws, paint brushes; appropriate hand tools, spade, pick, hoe, shovels; and operating edgers, string trimmer, blower, and vacuum as directed. * Assist in the maintenance tasks associated with the care of grounds, landscaping, trees, facilities, and other City property including cleaning restrooms, preparing ball fields, planting trees, dragging brush, assisting with tree work, and emptying garbage cans. * May operate small trucks and utility vehicles, light equipment, and power tools necessary to complete maintenance for the above assigned areas. * Performs other related duties as assigned.
