Job DescriptionMr. Handyman of Racine County is a growing, locally veteran owned and operated Residential and Commercial repair service serving counties of Kenosha, Racine and cities of Franklin and Oak Creek in Milwaukee. We are looking for highly qualified candidates to join our company.

An ideal candidate has experience in the home and commercial improvement and/or repairs and is willing to provide an outstanding customer service experience while accomplishing customer projects. Most projects can last from one hour to multiple days based on the scope of customers’ project needs.
Responsibilities:

· Dispatch from home using company provide vehicle. · Directly communicate the scope of work with the customer prior to starting the project.· Complete projects in a timely and professional manner following state and local building codes.· Documenting scope of work using company invoicing system and taking customer payment.· Maintaining clean and safe work environment by following OSHA standards.

Required Qualifications:

· Must have own tools · Carpentry · Drywall Repair and finishing · Light Plumbing and Electrical · Tiling · Painting Interior and exterior · Siding installation and repairs · Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Required / Desired Knowledge, Experiences and Skills:

• 5+ years of maintenance person, repair or property management experience
• Ability to work independently or on a team
• Responsible for building safety & maintenance, including small repairs, plumbing and carpentry as well as working with outside vendors.
• This position operates in an agency Residential Facility and requires entry into resident apartments and mechanical rooms.
• The position utilizes routine power tools and building equipment such as boilers, HVAC, PTAC, etc.
• The position requires the ability to trouble shoot problems, prioritize tasks, and the ability to deliver a completed project on time and on budget
• Implement predefined work order in a reliable and timely manner. Specific requirements will be provided in advance for each job.
• Field inspect all construction jobs/trades at the beginning and end of each project to ensure to go over any special requests or concerns and ensure high quality construction and cleanup

The Ideal Candidate would have the Following Qualities:

• Reputation for being punctual, reliable, and high quality workmanship.
• Access to your own tools (large equipment is provided)
• Able to pass a standard background check
• Ability to work and or be on call nights and weekends as issues arise
• Have HVAC troubleshooting and Unit installation experience

Time Commitment: Approximately 40 hours per week, some weekends/nights required

Compensation: commensurate with experience, supplemental benefits available after 90 days

Job DescriptionJob Description This position will monitor and maintain building equipment and structures. The essential functions of the position include:

Troubleshoots equipment using proper tools in a skilled craftsman-like manner.
Performs assignments as directed
Assumes the duties of other mechanics when required, including light carpentry, HVAC, heating, plumbing, grounds maintenance, etc.
Handles routine calls. Completes paperwork.
Informs Admin of all work performed.
Makes daily rounds of property to ensure smooth operation of all equipment Repairs malfunctioning mechanic devices this position works within a team environment.

Requirements:

This position requires a thorough knowledge of a specialized or technical field. May compile objective or measurable data and produce reports. May require operating knowledge of manufacturing or computer equipment.
The ideal applicant will have a high school diploma and a minimum of one year job-related experience.

The workload required to perform this job requires the ability to adapt to change Significant portions of daily assignments involve application of manual skills requiring motor coordination in combination with finger, e.g. typing, handwriting, or machine operations.
Significant portions of daily assignments involve prolonged standing, transporting material or equipment, lifting or moving, or carrying heavy (over 30 pounds) materials for intermittent periods throughout the day significant portions of daily assignments involve exposure to dirt, odors, noise, temperature/weather extremes. Working surfaces may be unleveled, slippery, or unstable.
Work regularly requires or varies between the day, evening, night, holiday, or weekend assignments. Schedule varies according to business demands and needs.
Significant portions of daily assignments involve occupational risk, such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals, injuries from falls, or back injury sustained with assisting with moving, lifting or positioning equipment or materials.
Significant portions of daily assignments involve ergonomic risk, such regular repetitive tasks, forceful pr prolonged exertions of the hands, vibration, cold temperatures, heavy lifting, pulling, pushing, or carrying of heavy objects, poor body mechanics, restrictive workstations, or awkward postures.
Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures requires travel to other locations within the resort this position requires a valid driver's license at the time of hire.
