SCHEDULED DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems. • Fix and troubleshoot issues with doors, windows, locks, and other fixtures. • Repair or replace damaged drywall, tiles, flooring, and other surfaces. • Paint interior and exterior surfaces to maintain or enhance appearance. • Install and assemble furniture, shelving, appliances, and other items. • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential maintenance needs. • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from clients or tenants. • Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices. • Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and other seasonal tasks as needed. • Communicate effectively with clients, tenants, and property managers. How You'll Contribute Summary To maintain the operational integrity of a complex facility by performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on all mechanical, plumbing, lighting, and life safety systems during the assigned overnight shift. This is an essential employee position, requiring you to report to and remain at work during emergencies and early closings (e.g., severe weather, utility outages, etc.). Your Impact Your Impact Responsibilities Include: Perform Preventative and Corrective Maintenance (80%): Execute regular, scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) and perform necessary corrective repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety equipment as directed by the Shift Lead. This includes, but is not limited to, checking chiller/boiler logs, changing filters, motor inspection, and belt replacement. Certifications and Licenses: While no licenses are required for this role, candidates who currently hold a 6th Class Operating Engineer's License are highly encouraged to apply, as this experience is a significant advantage. The employee will be required to complete 24 hours of continuing education per year in engineering and maintenance fields.
