BASIC PURPOSE To provide a safe and reliable fleet by performing preventative maintenance and proper repairs on all fleet equipment.
Reefer Mechanic will be responsible for the troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of the Fleet road equipment including tractor, trailer, thermo-king, converter dolly and maintenance vehicles. Ensure compliance with all State and Federal trucking regulations. Reefer Mechanics will also be responsible for the documentation, completion, and to keep current the maintenance logs for all repairs and parts used daily.

Schedule: Sunday -Thursday Third Shift
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete all required repairs on diesel reefer equipment (THERMO KING & CARRIER TRAILER REFRIGERATION SYSTEMS, Reefer Microprocessors, etc.).
Perform preventative maintenance within manufacturer standards.
Mentor other maintenance shop personnel.
Receive road calls, assign third party vendor, and work with business partners on plan of action.
Utilize fleet maintenance software system tablet to fully document equipment repair and parts used.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations and government guidelines.
Willingness and capacity to assume increased responsibility and certifications.
Other duties as assigned by manager.

Internal: All Fleet Technicians, Drivers, Coordinators and Manager.
External: Dealer Service Managers.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Onsite: The associate in this role is expected to perform assigned responsibilities inside a US Foods maintenance facility.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must have 3 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a Fleet Reefer/Refrigeration technician. TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certifications.
Must be willing to travel and attend training provided by US Foods.
Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to reefer equipment repairs.
Successfully demonstrated independent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must furnish own personal hand tools.
Ability to read and understand technical and online service manuals.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent required.
CERTIFICATIONS/TRAINING
EPA 608 (Type 2 or Universal) & EPA 609 Certifications
LICENSES
Must possess a valid driver's license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to comply with EPA and OSHA & DOT regulations as pertaining to the shop and fleet.
Computer and software experience/ Noregon Diag Equip/A/C Recovery, Etc.
Able to repair and overhaul warehouse equipment.
Welding ability
Valid Class A CDL license and DOT certification

Position Summary: As a Cobot Production Technician, you will be responsible to set-up, program and validate various robotic solutions. You will be working with all levels within our organization. Document all results in detailed field service reports
Rotate on-call duties for emergency response and service
Assist the sales team by providing technical expertise and recommendations
Ensure compliance with NETA, NFPA70E, and ABM safety and quality standards
What We're Looking For
Minimum Requirements:
5+ years of experience in electrical testing and power system services
Current NETA Level III or IV, or NICET equivalent certification
Proven experience leading and mentoring technicians in the field
Ability to manage multi-month, medium to large-scale projects
Familiarity with NETA ATS/MTS Standards and NFPA70E
Proficient in lockout/tagout and hazardous energy control procedures
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Clean driving record and ability to travel nationally (up to 90%)
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree or higher in Power Systems or related field
Skilled in troubleshooting electrical faults, especially ground faults
Familiarity with generator controls, protection systems, and high-voltage substations

What You'll Need:

Key Responsibilities
Conduct infrared thermography inspections on electrical panels, switchgear, motors, and other critical equipment.
Analyze thermal images to detect anomalies such as loose connections, overloads, and insulation failures.
Prepare detailed inspection reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule repairs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Maintain and calibrate IR cameras and related diagnostic tools.
Adhere to ABM safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE requirements.
Support predictive and preventive maintenance programs for client facilities.
Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams regarding inspection results and next steps.
Career path will include additional training for NETA testing
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
2+ years of experience in electrical systems maintenance or IR inspections.
Knowledge of NFPA 70E electrical safety standards.
Strong analytical and reporting skills; proficiency with IR imaging software.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple client sites.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (indoor/outdoor, heights, confined spaces).
