PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Performs skilled electrical work in the inspection, repair, testing, adjustment, installation and removal of nuclear power plant equipment.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Inspects, repairs, installs and removes motors, generators, transformers, switches, and electrical signal and communication systems, along with their control equipment and wiring.
Locates and repairs failures in electrical circuits and equipment.
Installs test apparatus on electrical equipment.
Documents complex electrical wiring in schematic diagrams.
Assists other maintenance and modifications crafts.
Provides training and oversight to other personnel.
Performs emergency response duties as assigned.
To be assigned as needed to support decon, housekeeping, painting, calibration, tool room work and other duties as assigned by the Company.
This position requires completion of an Electrician qualification book.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must have satisfactorily completed an accredited electrical training program with a minimum of 2 years electrical experience (Trades, Manufacturing, Navy Nuclear electrical specific or an INPO accredited electrical maintenance training program).
May be subject to certification and recertification with periodic reviews if required by NRC or industry standards.
Must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of this position.
Must pass a validated aptitude test.
Must meet requirement of NRC psychological testing regulations.

Primary Purpose of Position
The Nuclear Duty Officer (NDO) is the designated representative of nuclear management, responsible for notifying the Chief Nuclear Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice Presidents and other nuclear personnel of clean energy centers (CECs) operational events or occurrences. The NDO supports the clean energy centers by coordinating efforts among all corporate groups to ensure safe, reliable and efficient plant operations. Works with the Generation Portfolio Operations Team to optimize the efficiency and minimize the impact of load drops and scheduled outages. Contributes to the development and maintenance of a standard operations program within the fleet to achieve consistently high levels of performance in plant operations at all CECs. Routinely interfaces with CEC counterparts and industry peers to ensure continuous improvement. Functions as a corporate expert on all matters related to the conduct of plant operations and regulations governing plant operations. May function as/represent Director Corporate Operations.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
Establish and enforce consistent Operations procedures, policies, and direction consistent with fleet goals and initiatives.
Identify, develop and implement Operations-based best practices from the fleet and the industry.
Periodically assess implementation of and compliance to standard procedures, policies, and directions.

Constellation is seeking Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become a licensed Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) supporting FitzPatrick Generating Station located in Oswego, NY.
Primary Purpose of Position
The primary purpose of this position is to train and prepare to perform the duties of an Operations Shift Supervisor who holds a Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) License. Upon completion of training the candidate will be fully licensed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to supervise the licensed activities of licensed reactor operators in the reactor control room. They will also be trained to directly supervise bargaining unit reactor operators and equipment operators generally.

Attend Initial License Training (ILT) which includes classroom training and examination, along with on-the-job training and evaluation.
Successfully complete all phases of training to obtain an SRO license in order to perform the duties of an Operations Shift Supervisor.

Must have 1.5-years after qualification. Degree from a 4-year program or equivalent in engineering, engineering technology or physical sciences, or professional engineer license, and more than 1.5-years as a qualified non-licensed operator or a supervisor or manager in work control, operations, engineering, outage management, maintenance, radiation protection, chemistry, or accredited training at a comparable (BWR or PWR) facility. Managerial, staff engineer, or supervisor experience at noncomparable plant may be credited on a 1.5:1.0 basis (i.e., over 2.25-years required for noncomparable facility), and 3-years required for a nontraditional degree.

Locality pay varies by duty location.Note: A fully trained CBPO is eligible for up to $45,000 in overtime pay in addition to the starting salary. Grade level eligibility and salaries vary depending upon background, including experience and education, and duty location of the opportunity. This is a career ladder position with a grade level progression of GS-5, GS-7, GS-9, GS-11, and GS-12. You will be eligible for a promotion to the next higher grade level (without re-applying) once you successfully complete 52 weeks in each grade level. Promotions are at the discretion of the agency. Officers are eligible to select from an array of federal employment benefits that include health, dental and other insurance plans, a generous annual and sick leave program, and participation in the Thrift Savings Plan, a retirement plan akin to a traditional and ROTH 401(k) offering.

This training consists of basic law enforcement skills, immigration laws, firearms training, examination of cargo/bags/merchandise, physical fitness, etc. Candidates assigned to the southern border, Miami, or Puerto Rico duty locations must attend and pass an online Spanish training program, which will be completed at their home port. Successful completion of the Academy is required for this position.

General Functions:
Under the supervision of the Water Fitness Coordinator, the Water Fitness Instructor is responsible for assuring the safety, well-being, enjoyment, and instruction of the YMCA water fitness classes. The Water Fitness Instructor is responsible for teaching classes to the YMCA of the USA guidelines and in accordance with their training.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:
The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
· Instruct in a professional, courteous, manner and eliminate unsafe practices and physical hazards.
· Instructs members on effective workout methods; explains proper techniques; demonstrates exercises.
· Prepares appropriate equipment and/or music for each class.
· Answers questions from members to support them in achieving their goals related to healthy living.
· Builds effective, authentic relationships with members; helps members connect with each other and the Y.
· Ensures safety standards are met, and that department and facility policies are adhered to.
· Never leave class unattended.
· Maintain cleanliness of facility.
· Know and enforce the pool rules.
· Wear a uniform consisting of: staff shirt, one-piece bathing suit.
· Arrive 15 min early on deck in uniform for all shifts.
· Cover all shifts ensuring that all classes run at all times.
· Maintain proper written records including attendance.
· Set-up and clean-up all class materials.
· Run and attend all program specific mandatory meetings and trainings.
· Must teach one class per week or substitute an average of 1 class per month to maintain membership and other instructional benefits.
· Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
· Experience instructing water fitness classes preferred.
Qualifications:

· Demonstrate a sincere desire to improve the health and wellness of YMCA Health and Wellness program, staff and program participants.
· Ability to lead and motivate others.
· Ability to effectively communicate information on YMCA of Central New York program components to members.

· Effective interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with Members, Directors and Staff.
· Refrain from diagnosing injuries, offering medical advice and dispensing or endorsing any and all commercial health products.
· Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
· Must be willing to work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays.
Trainings & Certifications:
· Must complete online Bloodborne Pathogens, Employee Safety and Youth Protection Series trainings prior to initial assignment to position.
· Must hold and maintain current YMCA lifeguard or YASA Certification within 6-months of hire date.
· Must complete online Hazard Communication training within the first 90-days of employment.
· Must hold and maintain current CPR, AED, first aid, and oxygen administration within 60-days of hire date.
· Must hold and maintain Water Fitness Instructor Certifications within 12-months of hire date.
· Must attend and complete Listen First training within the first 90-days of hire date.

Physical Demands:
Ability to conduct classes and activities, remain alert with no lapses on consciousness. Ability to hear noises and distress
signals in an aquatic environment, including in water with background noise and perform all needed rescue skills. Operate
alone as an instructor, without other instructors for support. Project voice across aquatic area. Able to frequently stand, sit,
walk, talk, hear, swim, bend, reach, balance, crouch or crawl, climb and/or balance, reach with hands and arms, handle or
feel, stoop, climb up and down an elevated chair, lift, move and carry approximately 35 pounds, climb a minimum of two
flights of stairs (approximately every ½ hour) and use of hands and fingers. Able to respond appropriately in emergency
situations. Specific vision abilities required close, color, distance, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in a typical aquatic environment. At times, the employee may be exposed to situations where injuries
may occur. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to above average. Occasionally exposed to outdoor weather
conditions and to wet and/or humid conditions in swimming pool areas may occur.

Student Internship Diesel Technician
