Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, compressors, rotating equipment, valves, motors, gearboxes, and other plant machinery. Diagnose mechanical failures and implement effective repairs to reduce downtime. Interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, equipment manuals, and work orders. Conduct routine equipment inspections and reliability checks. Assist with installation, alignment, and testing of new or rebuilt equipment. Follow all plant safety policies, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and OSHA standards. Work collaboratively with operations, engineering, and reliability teams. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed in CMMS systems. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant reliability. Qualifications 3+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in industrial, chemical, refinery, or manufacturing environments (preferred). Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and repair manuals. Experience with alignment tools (laser, dial indicators) preferred. Basic computer skills for maintenance documentation. Ability to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 operation. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate or apprenticeship preferred. Must pass pre-employment background, drug screen, and applicable safety training.
