Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail oriented Production Supervisor to plan, direct, and coordinate all assigned operations following manufacturing objectives for our Continental Day shift. As a Production Supervisor, you will manage and provide direction to departmental personnel in implementing modern, cost-effective practices to achieve the goals of the department according to all safety, quality, housekeeping, and production standards. This position will supervise all personnel and operations in the department by employing leadership, hands-on technical support, scheduling, and project management.
Essential Functions:
Monitor manufacturing activities and ensure manufacturing processes are being followed and that all quality requirements are being met or exceeded
Review and dispose of all scrap produced in the department which includes effective root cause and corrective action analysis
Direct departmental activities providing assurance of safety, health, and compliance with environmental rules and regulations
Directly supervises the employees in their department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Engage in efforts to continuously improve the processes on the shop floor.
Ensure that HR policies, procedures, and regulations are followed and documented
Maintain a thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment
Meet departmental metrics
Perform other related duties or responsibilities as required
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by the U.S. Government and able to work without restrictions with ITAR related data
High School Diploma or GED required
5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment; aerospace preferred
3+ years of supervision experience

Set-up, program, and operate EB and CNC controls for the EB welding process
Interpret and execute production using drawings and blueprints
Planning and general set up of EB welding operations in the facility, semi-manual and/or automatic, within the limits of certifications in accordance with customer
requirements and current methods and process sheets
Check welds visually and dimensionally with precision measuring instruments for conformance to blueprints and specifications
Utilize working knowledge of welding practice and weld-ability of current metal groups within their certification
Under supervision, measure, examine, and test completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers.
Maintain records and document in-process inspection data as required.
Work with a variety of materials, including steel, copper, aluminum, titanium, Inconel, and other precious metals.
Observe and listen to operating machines or equipment to help diagnose machine malfunctions and to determine the need for adjustments or repairs.
Perform basic machine maintenance as required to maintain part quality and quantity standards.
Clean and lubricate machines, tools, and equipment in order to remove grease, rust, stains, and foreign matter.
Report faulty or unusual conditions to the appropriate level of supervision.

Summary:

Summary:
We are seeking a SQE who will be responsible for the Organization's Supplier Quality Program to drive improvement in the Supply Chain by assuring adequacy in the Suppliers' Quality Program and Inspection Methods.
