Harbert joined HMC in 2010 as an Associate in Private Equity rising to Senior Associate in 2013. In August 2014, Harbert transitioned into a management role within Fund Administration while still overseeing the remaining private equity investments. He was elected to the HMC Board of Directors in 2017. Prior to joining HMC, he was an Associate in the Transaction Services Strategy Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers, focusing on buy side commercial due diligence. He holds a Masters of Business Administration and a BS in Finance, both from Wake Forest University where he was a letter winner on the track team. Harbert currently serves on the Board of the HERO Foundation (Harbert Employees Reaching Out), the Athletic Advisory Council of the Deacon Club for Wake Forest University and the Advisory Board of Oakworth Capital Bank. He previously served on the Boards of CES Holding Company, Inc., Precision Alloys Corporation, STX Healthcare Management Services, Inc., Dent-A-Med, Inc., Onward Behavioral Health, Inc. and Travis Body and Trailer, Inc.

Liles joined Harbert Management Corporation in February of 2011. He is responsible for global technology initiatives at HMC, including network Infrastructure, business continuity and disaster recovery, software support, mobility management, and telecommunications. Liles is an experienced Senior Information Technology Executive with over 27 years of corporate expertise, involving both domestic and international companies. Throughout his career, he has held numerous key management positions focusing on core computing competencies, process engineering, data architecture, security, and network operations within the manufacturing, logistics, and financial industries. Liles earned a BS degree in Health Care Management from the University of Alabama and a BS degree in Computer Science from Jacksonville State University.
