Karin Lagerlund is a managing director and the Firm's Chief Financial Officer and oversees the finance teams who coordinate the Firm's global accounting operations. Karin also works closely with external auditors and the investment teams to ensure compliance with relevant accounting practices. The finance team of more than 36 professionals generates annual and semi-annual financial statements, as well as quarterly limited partner capital account statements and other client reporting (including a SAS 70 report). This team is also responsible for cash distributions and fund level performance measurement and monitors closings for secondary transactions.

Tricia Mackechnie joined HarbourVest in 2016 and leads the Firm’s global information technology operations and strategic initiatives involving systems, security, infrastructure, application development, telecommunications, and mobility. Tricia joined the Firm from The Hartford where she held various roles in both operations and IT and was most recently a senior vice president and CIO. She was responsible for operations and technology for The Hartford’s annuity and group benefits businesses. She was also accountable for the strategy and execution of The Hartford’s enterprise IT functions including Investment Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Finance, Human Resources, and Real Estate. Prior to that, Tricia was the head of project management for US Customer Service at ING. Her experience also includes ten years at Accenture. Tricia received a BS in Computer Science from Northeastern University in 1991.
