The Bartender is responsible for delivering cultivating strong guest relationships and delivering operational excellence of a Casa de Montecristo location, as part of a team that achieves high standards of results.
Responsibilities
Provide a world-class guest experience in the bar, restaurant, smoking lounges and overall location through exemplary service and selling skills. Serves as a Casa de Montecristo brand ambassador.
Build relationships with customers. Proactively and effectively communicate product features and benefits, as well as promotional information.
Demonstrate a tenacious drive for results. Accountable for becoming a trusted, successful expert in the bar and consistently work as part of a team to exceed sales and KPI goals.
Develop and maintain strong knowledge of Casa de Montecristo products.
Assists in the complete operations of the store, including accurate pouring, stock control and product maintenance.
Performs all functions to effectively execute corporate initiatives in a timely, efficient and resource-wise manner.
Follows all Casa de Montecristo policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) as well as state and local regulations.
Maintains visual and cleanliness standards to support the brand image. Ensures a comfortable, responsible and safe environment.

Qualifications
Previous bartending experience required.
POS and/or computer skills needed
Knowledge of wine, liquor and spirits. Bartender certification a plus (or required if applicable)
Ability to work a flexible schedule (night, weekends, holidays)

Requests additional supplies as necessary and stocks the bar.
Follows set-up procedures.
Prepares garnishes, fruits mixes and pre-mixed drinks prior to opening bar.
Greets members and guests.

by food and beverage servers according to approved standard recipes.
Collects checks and payments for drinks served.

Teamwork: Collaborate with other restaurant Team Members, including servers and kitchen staff, to ensure a seamless dining experience for Guests. Assist in opening and closing duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

As a Bartender, your role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities aimed at connecting and engaging with each guest to create a WOW experience. You will be expected to serve patrons courteously, swiftly, and efficiently, always maintaining a sincere, positive, pleasant, and enthusiastic demeanor.
A key part of your job will involve adhering to guidelines for the legal and responsible service of alcohol. Your duties will include taking orders, engaging in suggestive selling, and crafting drinks according to specific recipes.
Additionally, you will handle financial transactions, which entails accurately receiving money, giving back change, and being accountable for all cash managed at your register during your shift. At the end of your shift, you will also be responsible for counting down the cash drawer to ensure all totals are accurate. Your attention to detail, compliance with legal standards, and commitment to WOW guest service will be pivotal in creating an enjoyable atmosphere for all guests.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must be at least 18 years old and consistently adhere to laws regarding the responsible service of alcohol.
Excellent communication skills are a must, as you will be interacting with a diverse range of guests and ensuring they have a memorable WOW experience.
Additionally, you should be physically capable of lifting 15-20 pounds and be able to maintain a high level of energy and efficiency for shifts lasting up to 8 hours.
