Kforce is seeking an experienced Software Hardware Tester for an enterprise R&D client in Fort Collins, Colorado (CO). This position does require someone to go onsite so you mut be local to the area or willing to relocate within 30 days of starting.In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (-the Act-) (C.R.S. In the end this team would end up with experience in the development and testing of a new product for the project.Project: While working on this project you will be asked to perform the below duties and additional duties upon request:

* You will need to be comfortable working in a very fluid environment as this team is operating in startup mode
* Work on creating up new test plans for how to test a product that isn't out yet

* Have to quickly be able to pivot and try something new

* Write python scripts and then execute those scripts

* Python

* Ability to write scripts/execute on scripts

* Ability to research and figure out what they should do

Nice to Have:

* Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO)

* Experience with new product development

* Passion for computer vision, image processing, camera equipment, and video editing

Job Title : Hardware/Software Technician

Job Description: Our client, a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for a Hardware/Software Technician to work from their Offutt AFB facility. Our client is is currently seeking a HW/SW technician with strong lab maintenance and troubleshoot background to support at our HSSF (Software Support Facility) at OFFUTT AFB in Nebraska.
This person will maintain the health of the equipment in the lab. This includes coordinating support for troubleshooting, performing inventory of equipment, researching and recommending replacement parts and performing system administration functions. This position will require a candidate who can work on multiple on-going programs. The job will require travel.
Qualifications: Associate's degree in related discipline or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is active and transferrable at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Additional Job Duties :

• Fix cables
• Pack equipment per Special Packaging Instructions and work closely with shipping
• Support parts inventory
• Support parts research
• Troubleshoot issues with VAX system
• Assist with set up the Charon VAX
• Cabling
• Setting up protocol analyzer for testing
• Perform STE transfer of data from STE to PC to VAX and vice versa
• Research of any upgraded of equipment or SW application the lead engineer requests
• Liaison to our client's staff back at our Dedham, MA facility

Preferred:

• 5+ years of experience in maintaining a lab
• Troubleshooting equipment issues
• Experience with using protocol analyzers
• Performing system level testing
• Ability to read schematics/drawings
• Some software experience is a plus
