Job Title : Hardware/Software Technician
Location : Offutt AFB, NE
Wage Range: 35-38

Job Description: Our client, a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for a Hardware/Software Technician to work from their Offutt AFB facility. Our client is is currently seeking a HW/SW technician with strong lab maintenance and troubleshoot background to support at our HSSF (Software Support Facility) at OFFUTT AFB in Nebraska.
This person will maintain the health of the equipment in the lab. This includes coordinating support for troubleshooting, performing inventory of equipment, researching and recommending replacement parts and performing system administration functions. This position will require a candidate who can work on multiple on-going programs. The job will require travel.
Qualifications: Associate's degree in related discipline or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is active and transferrable at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

  • 5+ years of experience in maintaining a lab
  • Troubleshooting equipment issues
  • Experience with using protocol analyzers
  • Performing system level testing
  • Ability to read schematics/drawings
  • Some software experience is a plus
